Today's Recipe (another one) is my 30% Cream Fantastico:

Cream Fantastico

Blueberry Extra - 8%
Strawberries & Cream - 7%
Vanilla Swirl - 5%
Bavarian Cream - 4%
Cotton Candy - 4%
Sweetener - 2%

Flavor and sweeten to taste. One delicious cream, and an ADV if you like this flavoring. Love to hear your comments about this one! Ciao.

Happens almost every time. One or two flavors short. The only strawberry I have is strawberry ripe.

I have rose and violet candy but haven't gotten into them yet. I'm still struggling with basic recipes and figured that these were more for experts to play with. I have over 60 flavors but have only played with about 30 of them. Please post on these if you ever try them, Bill. What you are doing here is VERY helpful and may prevent folks (like me) from giving up on DIY.

As I mentioned, I've never used either one. Can't recall a recipe using them either. And, I don't have either flavoring....part of the missing few....

Of course, if I do see something or makes something I'll post it here. Please don't give up on DIY. I almost did. Actually I did, but then I thought that since I had about $500 into it, I'd try one more time, and then I made a breakthrough.....a really simple breakthrough. What was the breakthrough?

I found that adding vanilla swirl to cotton candy to Bavarian cream and adding it to anything made juice not good, but GREAT! That was the start, the beginning of my journey into great juice. The truth is that I tried to quit smoking for 35 years...3 PAD American Spirit Black. 18 Serious, legitimate attempts, all-in efforts. The last time was January 1, 2013. Geared up, strong (36 mg/ml) juice and I've never smoked since. However, I almost went back when I couldn't find good flavorings in my strength. I liked the idea of DIY, and geared up, and, literally, sucked at it. I couldn't make anything for six months other than an early ADV with cinnamon Danish. That saved me, I tried again in June, and been making juice ever since. And, I really liked making juice for myself and others. I found out that I have a lot of friends and relatives that wanted me to make juice for them, all different flavors, so I did, I tried and tried and tried, and eventually I got a feel for it. I've been putting out those ideas for about a month now on this thread, and will continue to do so, until I have nothing left to share. It'll be a while. I still have more, and I enjoy the ideas, learn from everyone else, my juice is improving, and I'm having a nice time. Your post is encouraging too! I thank you! Many great juices to come, my friend! Best to you!

Story of my life: missing one. Here it's flavors, on the track it was parts. Never fails lol

Saving money for me wasn't the idea lol If I want to save, I'll go back to $2/pack cigars lol Since I don't see that happening (cannot STAND analog taste anymore) I'm just going to keep at it!

It appears that my FIL now wants me to take him to a Vape shop today so he can see what it's all about taste wise etc. So I'm hoping that he'll find something to ADV that I can replicate for him so he'll break his analog habit!

As much as tinkering sounds like fun, I have to ask because it may save me both time and money.

Do you guys have a TFA recipe that tastes like sweetened, condensed milk? I think I would use that a lot with my other flavors... it would be a lot like the snow cones we so often eat here ("shave ice").

What is your experience with Champagne as far as adding that "fizzy"taste? I've read briefly about it but would like some confirmation before I order. If I ever get my sherbet down I think it would be awesome and be so much like the party punches I've had as a kid (rainbow sherbet, orange juice, and 7-up).

Keep us posted. Never found anything that we couldn't replicate yet. Most of my juices are copies, my take anyway, on juice I've tried at B&M's. Every now and then I'll find one I really like, then rush home to make it. Few tries.....voila!

As a matter of fact, I made one today that I really liked at a B&M. The basic Red Vines, or Red Licorice:

Red Licorice

Absinthe - 2%
Red Licorice - 10%
Raspberry - 7%
Sweetener - 4%
Sweet Cream - 2%

Really good out of the can. Can't wait to taste this one in a few days. Will vape off my 2.5 ml blend right now, though. Good stuff and spot on to me.

Let us know if we can help! Best to you!

Spanish for sweetened milk is dulce de leche. TFA DDL is all that and more. Yummy and irreplaceable in many recipes, particularly those bottom of the bowl cereal flavorings. Champaign doesn't fizz, but the taste is there as a nuanced flavor.

As far as punches go, the Hawaiian punch is pretty good as-is....one of the few, imho. What specifically are you trying to make? Maybe we can help.:toast::vapor:

Thanks for the reply :)

Woot, I HAVE a sample of DDL that I haven't opened yet! :) I can think of a lot of things it might be good with. Thanks to this forum I have a number of things I didn't originally think I needed ... vanilla swirl, vanilla bean gelato, vanilla bean ice cream, marshmallow, dulce de leche, Brown sugar extra, and a couple of others. I really am not as into heavy dessert vaping but am realizing that these thing enhance fruits as well...

I am trying to replicate a sherbet. there's a locally made one that has lime, orange, raspberry and pineapple that I will eventually get to, but I was asking about the "fizz"part of it as it reminds me of a punch/float I had as a kid.

A float made of rainbow or pineapple sherbet in a glass of 7-up is super awesome if you guys have never had one :)

I haven't seen the flavor in ages but a scoop of watermelon sherbet blended with 7-up and a little bit of powdered sugar makes a really great freeze.

btw, I forget who was saying they didn't know what to use pina colada for but it's used in many touristy tropical drinks, here.

One of the only ones I like (and will actually order at a bar, here, which gets strange looks sometimes) is a lava flow. The easiest way to make it is pins colada mix, some run or vodka, and strawberry puree.

I'm wondering what a lava flow vape would taste like now... hmm.. maybe I have to add that to the ever growing list...

I like what you're thinking and talking about here. Initial thoughts about flavorings:

Lemon Lime - a primary or secondary
Citrus Punch - a primary or secondary
Ginger Ale - a primary or secondary
Koolada - just a touch
Pick your fruit flavorings - Sweet, NOT RIPE - Orange, Pineapple, Cherry, Raspberry, Watermelon - Primaries
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream - Primary or secondary
French Vanilla Cream
Dulce de Leche
Vanilla Bean Gelato
Bavarian Cream
Sweet Cream
Cotton Candy
Sweetener
Mint Candy - touch - drop(s)
Vanilla Swirl
Brown Sugar ?? - maybe
Wintergreen ?? - maybe - touch - drop(s)
Crème de Menthe ?? - maybe - touch - drop(s)

A whole lot can go right with these ingredients, AND you can get to the flavoring you are suggesting with these too! The start of Super Yummy Good - a technical mixing phrase or term....

If you have any issues with the percentages, let us know. I would think of this mix in four parts, and START to think about the percentages as follows:

1. The lemon lime/citrus base, mixing with (5 - 10%)
2. The fruits, made to pop with (7 - 15%)
3. the mint(s) and koolada, and all blended with (1 - 4%)
4. The ice cream/vanilla/creams - sweetened heavily (7 - 12%)

Adjust to flavor and sweeten to taste. Only way is to test. Use drops = 1% method, with 100 drop tests. Do not exceed 30% flavoring overall (target). My immediate reaction to your post, prior to any testing/tasting, etc., but I bet the mix is here somewhere. Love to hear the preliminary thinking of others on this, because this sounds like something wonderful to make and vape, and I, for one, want to hear about your results when you mix it! Please! Best to you and good luck! :D:toast::vapor::2c:

Lava Flow, a guess:

Lava Flow

Pina Colada - 6%
Coconut Extra - 3%
Pineapple - 3%
Sweet cream - 3%
Sweetener - 4%
Strawberry - 8%
Jamaican Rum - 3%

Would have to work out the percentages, and flavors, but this would be a good start, I would think, and it sounds great too! And maybe some vanilla there somewhere. Sounds wonderful. Good luck! :toast::vapor::D:2c:

After seeing that pic,i went and looked at mine to see if anything had changed. It did get a very very faint color to it now,but nowhere near what it should be,and the smell is very faint as well. Here you can see how light the color is compared to your's.My first bottle looked just like your's,so i'm thinking this was quite possibly a bad batch.I was wrong also,it was june that i got this, not july.
View attachment 373661

I cracked my new bottle. I also whiffed on some ground coffee, brushed the choppers and made sure all was ready for vaping. Even with the new bottle, I'm up to 12% and still can't taste it. So - Bill was right. I have the dreaded vaper's tongue. Guess I'll put the RY4 Double away for a while.

Now I'm ready for Bill's tobacco. Some of that brew should get me by until I can taste RY4 again.

DARN!!! Me, too. All I have is Blueberry Wild. I was going to try this because I have to stop with the RY4 for a while... Thanks for posting the recipe, Bill.

Wow... To tell you all the truth, the trouble I've been having with RY4 and the failures on almost everything I tried had all but made me quit, too. I was trying to figure out how to tell my kids they were going to have to start spending their money on ejuice when I noticed some activity in this thread. Here we are - learning and trying. Like Bill, I know I've got a small fortune invested in gear and flavor. I was all set to pitch it all in the trash.

Don't give up.

This sounds like a job for Bill's Magic Vapor. Can't wait to see how it turns out... Lime sherbet and Vernor's Ginger Ale for me as a kid. Incredible! Vernor's Ginger Ale is easy to find - in Michigan. I've never seen it anywhere else.

That's one Vape Fest I would love to attend! I would enjoy just watching you work through creations.

I would love to have you all! We could make anything and everything! That would be fun.....so fun, too! We can all learn from each other. I've learned many, many things from all of you too! I just so vividly remember what it was like before the breakthrough, and I truly do understand how frustrating it is at first. Initially thinking single flavor juices would be good....and easy. Easy maybe, good......not so much. So, how does one learn to mix what with what, and by how much? When you don't have a feeling or know what works, how do you move forward?

Baby steps, little at a time, and a whole lotta bad juice along the way. I'm giving all my recipes to this thread in the hopes that you can see the patterns (they are there), and see how certain things go with other things, and by how much of each (approximately). One day it just clicks, and then you can start making recipes on paper. Then you make them and adjust. Eventually, the paper recipes are remarkably close to the taste recipes. often I'll make several variations, and the first one is surprisingly often, the best of the bunch. Truly freaky, but that's how it goes.......we just have to stick with it. Learning to enjoy the journey, patiently (like 64 drops of VG in every test batch), becomes just as much fun as developing the juice flavorings, or at least, it did for me, and still does. I just like doing it. Some people like gardening, some other things.....I like juice making.....just me that way.....

If I can help others learn and enjoy and learn from everyone else too, then it's a wonderful two way street for all. Makes sense to me. I don't expect everyone to share my passion, just make some good juice is all, and then love vaping. Beats the heck out of the alternative, keeps my busy, provides creativity, it's very satisfying. To each there own, though. It's not for everyone, but if you vape, you'll enjoy good juice, vs. bad juice, that's for sure. Enjoy! Thank you all!
