I did this Debi not too long ago. I'm in a rush to leave town so I can't find it at the moment, but it's here somewhere. It's not as important as one would think from some of the posts, and I don't add it when taste testing at all. :2c:
Awwwwwww, we'll miss you!

I don't know if there's a manual anywhere, or not. I've just used them in taste testing. I can say that Vanilla Swirl in your friend, but I do use them all. Best!

Yeah, you've used vanilla swirl, ice cream, bean, custard and bourbon in recipes you've posted recently. lol. I only have vanilla swirl and cupcake so far.

citric acid powder mixed with PG at 20% solution, then 1 drop only per bottle of juice, or about .17% with my droppers of a 20% solution, or .03% overall, so.....not much, but enough to do the job.

I'm sorry. I just can't think straight. One is a powder and one is a liquid. How do you mix them at 20%? I know Bill is busy, so could someone else explain it to me?

Ok I will add one more thing, if you want to really check your DIY balance get some PH test strips 1-14. they are about 100 for a dollar or something like that, your e-juice should have a ph balance reading of between 6-8. .6-8 is suppose to be optimal for best tasting juice :)

You put a drop of your juice on the strip and depending on the color when compared to the strip on the chart that comes with your pack of strips, you go ahead and counteract the reading...usually using pg sets it above 8 in which case you would use citric acid to counteract it and bring it lower to the optimal of 6 - 8. this would be for fruits flavors.

Chocolate, tobacco, caramel and various other dark liquids might be lower then 6 and you would use maltic acid (vinegar, etc) to counteract it to bring it back to 6-8

Just a little advance mixing tip

They sell them at walmart, etc

Moving on, today's recipe is:

Fruit Loops

Lot of ways to make this one, and many of them quite good. I like to go for the milky sweetness at the bottom of the bowl (dulce de leche) with strong fruit flavoring.

Cherry - 9%
Raspberry - 8%
Orange cream - 1%
Dulce de Leche - 2%

Interesting, much appreciated! I actually have 50% of these flavors for once, Raspberry and Dulce de Leche. Thanks for the recipe, Bill!

I might have to play around with the other 50% of the recipe, although I can only guess what Cherry and Orange Cream provide (an educated guess, but a guess nonetheless). Presumably more sweet, and maybe a little tart (or zing! If you will). I will definitely report back if I find anything promising, although I won't be able to compare to the original.

Either way, finding something that utilizes my Dulce de Leche would be nice. I've used about half the volume of my "go-to" flavorings, and should branch out to keep me vaping till payday and another flavor order.

On the plus side, I've made 60ml of more than acceptable DIY juice. I'll break even on my "investment," compared to pre-mixed, at around 130ml (with a boatload of supplies still remaining). Of course, I've got a lot more from this new endeavor than less-expensive and equally tasty juice! But, savings are always nice.

Ok,got a chance to make up 5 more samples today, looking forward to trying these.Made Bill's key lime pie and pink starburst(finally,it's been killing me waiting for bottles to try this haha),an orange creamsickle recipe from another thread on here, made a few changes to it that will hopefully get me where i want it to be,a pecan pie juice, and Ren's new one Jay's custard.I won't get a chance to taste these until tommorow, but i gotta say they all smell great.I got 50 new bottles today,so i will be able to get caught up with all these recipes that are coming up,they all sound very good,so looking forward to trying them all.

Hey Ren,not sure which vanilla you were referring to in that recipe,so i used vanilla swirl, let me know if you used something different and i will adjust on the next batch,so far this one smells amazing.

I made my first, well second but first vapable, juice today! Yesterday I tried a "Gambit Clone" that I found else wear and NOT!
I got my first direct TFA order today and mixed up Bills Cinnamon Danish and man is it nice. Well balanced, a little sweet, a little nutty. From the smell when I mixed it I thought it was going to be to strong but it's so nice and I mixed it myself! So cool!
Can't wait to try some more!!!:toast:

I agree the cinnamon danish recipe is good.I had been making it similar, only difference was i was using 1% sweetener instead of the 10% cotton candy, and it was good that way,but i finally made it his way and it's so much better i wish i would have made it that way all along.Be warned though, that juice is highly addictive,i have been using cinnamon danish as my adv for close to 2 months now, just cant get enough of that stuff haha.

You can definitely do it,just take your time, and make sure you use a good juice calculator.Alot of us use ejuicemeup it's a good one.Looks like you have a pretty good start for flavors too,as you progress into other recipes those creams will come into play for alot of different flavors.

1/2 teaspoon into 10ml of PG should yield an approximately 20% solution. You would then use about 2 drops per 5ml of juice.
