:smokie: <---- NO NO NO NO NO! I may be only speaking for myself, but I doubt it seriously....If you have that issue again, PM or if you can't, I'll give you my email if its easier. It's true, we have triggers, we're addicts....That's the facts! But we should always be able to get over the hurdle with support-and I for one am willing to help. Besides!!!!!!!! What good would it do to get back on stinkies?!?!?!? You have all these beautiful TFA flavors!!!!!!!

Thank you,i definitely appreciate the support.Like i mentioned in another post,i don't have any worries about actually going back,my wife still smokes, and i can't even stand the smell anymore, which is what makes it hard to comprehend why the cravings hit,but it all works out ok,i vape my .... off at the first oppurtunity i get and they go away haha.I think stress has been my biggest trigger,as it seems that is when the cravings really pop up,when i'm at my most stressed out times.I was always worried that being around the smoke from my wife would do it,but never had that problem, the only thing the smell from the smoke triggers,is wanting to throw up haha, but yeah i can be around that all day and never get the urge,so definitely not going back to them, those days are well behind me now,I've went way to long to even think about turning around now.

Bill's not going to smoke, but just has the occasional cravings that we all have from time to time, and lessen over time in frequency and intensity. I know I can't get this thing out of my hand yet at 6 mg/ml, and I'm a chain vaper....this thing never leaves my hand except at shower time and sleep.

I do hope that someday, I don't have any need for nicotine, but I must admit it does add a bit of pep in my step. Good for ya, Bill! :D

I AM doing the happy dance however, because TODAYYYYYYYYYYY came my new mod from MadVapes!!!!! Batteries are charging now. Went to my fav B&M to get a crash course in coil wrapping (he's got me sup ohm'ing right now at .5-not sure if that is appropriate for my mixing). Sooooooooooooooo the question is....should I go for a higher ohm coil for taste testing or leave it? I want my wonderful TFA flavors to taste the best they can!!!!!!!

Ok, Ren, what did you get? Please share and tell us all about it!

Here you go....

Bill's Magic Vapor - Cinnamon Danish
cinnamon danish 10%
cotton candy 10%
bavarian cream 6%

All TFA flavors obviously :p

Just a quick note. I will vary the Bavarian cream from 3-6% depending on my mood. I never have less than 100 mls of this around.....EVER. When I can't figure out what I want to vape, my CD is always there for me, but I do vape often three different juices in a day....but always CD is one of them.

EDIT:

Interesting story. When I first started to DIY, I had vaper's tongue so bad that I literally couldn't taste anything. I originally made this recipe this way:

Cinnamon Danish - 20%
Cotton Candy - 20%
Bavarian Cream - 6%

I could taste that! And it was good too. Of course, you can't taste anything else after this, lol. The more I learned about DIY, I thought maybe I was putting in too much flavoring, so I cut it in half, and that's how this recipe evolved. I believe I first saw the high flavoring recipe on the EJMU calculator, and it was the first juice I made that I actually liked, and saved me from giving up on DIY. I didn't make another good juice for at least 4 months, but the Bavarian Cream and Cotton Candy in this one recipe started me thinking about sweeteners and creams, and led to my current thinking about juice making. I evolved over time......just as you will. :D :vapor: :toast:

I made my second 200 drop mix of Bills Cinnamon Danish. 200 gives me a fill+ for my KFL. I got to thinking about the cinnamon rolls they sell at Albertsons near me and there covered with cream cheese frosting. I had some LA Cream Cheese Icing so I added 3% and I like it! Kind of takes the edge of the cinnamon and helps blend it a little more for me. Also cut my nic in half to 6mil.

I also tried the Lemon pie but didn't have any marshmallow so I substituted Vanilla swirl. It's only ok. I'll try it again. Not a fan of meringue though so I might try wiped cream instead of marshmallow. I'll get them both and try it both ways to see what works for me.

Thanks again Bill!:)
Yaaaaaaaa..... Going to have to go to Albertsons today now! Lol

Let us know. I have used that dulce de leche in Apple Jacks and Fruit Loops with good results. Please let us know how it works for you!

Dulce is perfect. Spot on for 'bottom of the bowl' milk! Thank you sir.

my crunch berries mix was simple:

berry crunch 10%
dulce de leche 5%

This comes pretty close to me. No waiting either.

Jeez! Thanks for that Mekc. I just ordered 4 oz bottle of LorAnn Cream Cheese Icing. This is one of the missing ingredients that I need in several recipes, and I can't quite get there with just TFA flavorings. If someone knows how to emulate cream cheese icing with TFA, kindly let us know, as I need this. BTW, while at LorAnn's, another half dozen bottles jumped into the cart, too. So, this one's on you now....thanks a lot! :D

Edit:

I don't think you can make my lemon pie with vanilla swirl. You do need the marshmallow, and you can't taste the marshmallow or meringue taste so much as a delicious thick creamy lemon. I did try to make this with vanilla on early attempts, and did have to add the marshmallow to get there. FYI.....Best!

Hello everyone, this is my first recipe suggestion because I'm not very good at making juices with a lot of different flavors (I don't have much patience :D) but this one particular one has become my ADV it's light and a little sweet and so I never get tired of it and it doesn't give me vapor's tongue:

Rice crunchies 5%
Brown sugar 2%
my mix: 70/30 pg/vg 10mg nic.

I've tried messing around with it, adding Acetyl Pyrazine, different coffee flavors, hints of this or that, but in the end I like the clear light flavor of the above recipe.
If anyone comes up with something added to this that makes it taste great, I'd love to hear it.
Thanks.

Ok, Ren, what did you get? Please share and tell us all about it!

Ok!!!!

Here is the mod (the copper one):

EHPro Caravela

Here is the atty:

EHPro Quasar RDA

A couple of these:

PV Elite IMR 18650, 3100mAh Battery, Flat Top

One of these:

Efest LUC Charger

And last but not least, 4 of these:

Space Jam, Starship 1, 15mL

So I got it all set up yesterday at the local B&M (I didn't want to make any rookie mistakes when it came to the coils). It's quite pretty that copper! But, I can say already it's got to change lol Either a forced patina (which until last night I didn't know people were doing already lol) or maybe alcohol inks. We used to use those when we made jewelry years ago. I'm WAY too particular to deal with tarnish hahahaha I'd spend every waking moment cleaning the blessed thing! I'd say it works pretty nicely! I do wish that the switch was a lil easier for my shaky hands, but I suppose, like everything else these days, that can probably be changed. Like I posted earlier, the fellow set it up with .5 ohm coils. I know this may sound odd-but....it seems to vape "hotter" than every other mod I've ever used that wasn't sub ohm. Is that possible? I've still got to PM MTV sometime today-perhaps I should be discussing that with him lol

Since I know next to nothing about mods.... I'd like any opinions out there on this one as to quality etc.... :)

Ren, you still have Albertson's? They all closed years ago in the South East...

haha YUP! However, the closest one to us is about 10 miles. We used to have about 9 of them in Colorado Springs and I think there are only three now. I know that they closed down MANY MANY of them several years ago. Which is unfortunate, as it was easy for me to get my good baking stuff there if I ran out in the middle of a recipe or something.

MadVapes isn't cooperating at the moment, but I know that gear fairly well, and it's quite nice. The .5 ohm coils are going to be super hot, way hotter than non-subohm coils on a mechanical because at the same voltage, they have a considerably higher wattage (power). If you want a vape that is not quite so hot, try making a coil with higher resistance. I typically vape at 1.0 - 1.8 ohms myself and use regulated devices at about 11.5 watts. That's my sweet spot. Plenty of vapor, very good flavor. But, the way "the market" is going, there's a lot of subohming going on these days for greater vapor production. Your juice PG/VG ratio will also affect vapor and flavoring as well. Congrats on the new gear!

Here's my new baby:

Taifun - the eye - SmokerStore GmbH - Ihr Spezialist für e-Zigaretten und Zubehör in NRW

I use these with Taifun GT's.

You're welcome Mike. It does get lonely in the vape lab, so it was a blast working on it with you!

Maybe 1% sweetener, as well? I made my batch with TFA Orange (sweet) and I couldn't tell the difference. This was a copy of Agent Orange, and, frankly, I preferred it over the Agent Orange slightly myself. I can definitely see flavoring to taste, which for me might include a cream, a vanilla, a nut (hazelnut?), and some sweetener. If you don't like tobacco notes, this might not be for you, but it's a whole lot more orange than it is tobacco, as Mike mentioned. Ciao!

What percent of the TFA Orange (sweet) ? did still use 15 %

I LOVEEEEEEEEEEE the style of that!!!!! It's really beautiful! (In a testosterone induced, manly way of course!) I'm starting to think I may have to look into an APV, which is "mostly"what you have there if I understand them correctly? I only think so, because most seem to have their fire button on the side. I don't have much control over my middle and ring fingers when holding things, so pressing the fire button is kind of hard for me. But, I'll stick with it for now, Id rather spend money on flavors LOL

My pleasure Bill. Glad I could return the favor of increasing Your flavoring bill a little! :pI have 33 flavors now and another 22 on the list for the first of the month. Marshmallow being one of them. Just had to try it!

I do have a great NY Cheese Cake recipe for baking. Don't know if it will translate to vapping though. Doesn't sound like it. When you think about all that goes in to a cheese cake. Cream cheese, sour cream, lemon, vanilla, eggs, butter, sugar and the crust. Then, like you say, the textures at work.

Oh and cinnamon Danish is one of those chemical tasting ingredients for me. While your mix is very balanced and quite vappable, I still got a little of that. That's why I added the LA in. I herd that MB sticky bun was so great so I had to try it and, for me, it was the worst vape I have ever had!!! it tasted like something out of a toxic waste dump. Funny how that happens!

Ok, my morning consisted of:

Ren's Minthol (Thanks Bill ;) )

Wintergreen - 7%
Koolada - 1% (flavor to taste)
Bavarian Cream - 3%
Sweetener - 2%

My FIL is the creator of this flavor, so when he returns home tonight, he can try it and we can see what adjustment he does or does not require :)

Dad's Mellow Minty Menthol

Spearmint - 5%
Menthol - 2%
Koolada - 1%
Sweetener - 1%

Same as the above.... we'll see. He wanted something that was a "clear" flavor (which I took to be non creamy) that wasn't as overpowering as the usual menthol types, but still yummy.

Jay's Custard

Butterscotch - 5%
Vanilla Custard - 3%
Vanilla Creme - 3%
Sweetener -2%

Named for my Uncle Jay who passed yesterday. This one is pretty darn SMOOOOOOOOOOOTH. I will see what it's like tomorrow maybe and then decide if I want to do a bigger one. This is WONDERFULLY sweet enough for my sweet tooth and I can see it being my new ADV.

Smooth and Sweet Strawberry Creme

Strawberry - 9%
Bavarian Creme - 2%
Vanilla Custard - 5%
Cotton Candy - 2%
Sweetener - 1%

I want to EAT this. It's insane! Nuff said :D

Boy's Pina Colada Candy

Pina Colada (LA) - 15%
Cotton Candy - 3%
Sweetener - 3%

:

Okies!

A little follow up here:

The Ren's Minthol was a HIT with my FIL woohoooooooooooo

The Dad's Mellow was a hit as well yayyyyyyyyyyyyy However, the day after I gave this to him, he got an AWFUL cold, so I altered the recipe a bit and came up with this to clear his sinus' before he went to bed and he said it was a lifesaver as well in the middle of the night (we've all been there lol)

Dad's Sinus and Cold Menthol

Spearmint - 6%
Wintergreen - 6%
Menthol - 5%
Koolada - 1%
Sweetener - 4%

Strong? Yes. Smell up the whole room? Yes! Perfect for clearing your sinus cavity and such in a hit or two on a VV spinner with a clearo? You betcha! ADV?? Ummmmmmmmmmm..... Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.........Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...... Not unless you're CRAZY lol

Jay's Custard is YUMMY still! (I made a 10ml and used a bit then let it sit for 3 days to see what would develop or not) I will say that the butterscotch is a bit more subtle after a two and a half day sit on the dresser. I may have to change that to 7-9%. Any thoughts out there?

Smooth and Sweet Strawberry Creme is tasty but the next morning had no strawberry flavor left. I realized at that point that I had got ripe instead of sweet. Once sweet gets here, I'll switch it out at the same % and see if that makes any difference. So that one is on hold for now. However I AM vaping the heck out of what's left over, because its still a sweet creamy yumfest!

Boy's Pina Colada doesn't SMELL any different. My son is still trying to go through a bottle of Caramel Custard from a B&M here that his buddy bought him. I hope to know more sometime this weekend. I just cannot bring myself to vape it though.... maybe, just MAYBE if I wrap some higher ohm coils today, I'll try it. Maybe.

Bill, mind that Mike has increased your flavor bill but he has increased MY wood bill. He did some very nice DIY holder/stand type stuffs and that started my hubby on a "what if" over at Lowe's. He turned out a 14 hole (for all sorts of stuffs including my new mod) in about 30 minutes on a spare pit of 2x4 just to try it out. Its not beautiful wood, but its sitting bedside and is very functional! We also had some bamboo, and he made me a bottle holder from that for my dresser. That IS very nice looking and is being used. Now.... he wants to do bigger and better lol THANKS MIKE!

What percent of the TFA Orange (sweet) ? did still use 15 %

Yep 15% I had FW Orange on hand and got orange sweet later. I couldn't taste a difference and FW isn't an oil so no shaking or adding PGA. The current recipe looks like this.

Orange 15% FW or TFA
Tobacco 6%
Mary Jane 5%
Gummy candy 2%
EM (20%) 2%
M-Type 1%
Koolada well I haven't been able to hone this one yet. Last attempt I added .4ml to 110ml batch of the above recipe and It still seems a bit high. Hoping time will mellow it out.

The original has subtle nuances when dripped at about 20 watts that this one doesn't. But it's very close! Thanks again Bill!!
