Ok, I've caught up now. Time for a lil hint about what I made today...

I was bored and picked up a cheater flavor because I had those blasted Butter Rum Lifesavers last night. I did 3-100 drop's on this flavor, but I think I have it. Tastes pretty blasted good out of the gate, but I know better with my cheater flav-so I will see what it is like in another day or two. Not that it makes ANY diff-but it SMELLS right lol

Maybe you can take what you have learned here, tweak it, make it better and enjoy it again :D
Maybe, but the funniest thing is that I came here to try and find out how to copy GL Deadly Sin and now I don't even like it anymore. I'm vapping cinnamon danish and lemon cake. These are some of the things I looked for before but couldn't find any good enough for me to want to vape. DS was just used because it was, at the time, a decent adv for me. Now I can make what I was looking for in the first place!

Hey jagstownville,i finally got to mix up your belize recipe today. It seems pretty good, and i think it will be great in a few days once everything has a chance to blend together.Good job on coming up with it.

Hey Reni, yeah watch that smells right thing, sometimes that will come back to haunt ya haha.I used Bill's pink starburst recipe as a base today to make a red(cherry)startburst,so i left out the strawberry, and used marischino cherry instead.I have read this is a strong flavor,so instead of 8% like with the strawberry,i knocked it down 3%.It smells exactly like when take the wrapper off of a cherry starburst, wish i could say it tastes like it,that cherry is so potent and powerful that the taste is still in my mouth 3 hours after trying it,i think i could have went .5% and it may still be too strong.I'm going to give it a few days to blend together, and hopefully in that time the cherry will calm itself down, but we will see haha.

And I came for two reasons, one-to save money (YA RIGHT!) and two-to FIND myself an ADV. Nothing, I mean NOTHING out there was flavorful enough, sweet enough, creamy enough-just not ENOUGH!!!!!!!!! Now, not only do I know what I want, I can make it-and am honing the ability to make the same for others as I learn. I love it! Thanks to TFA and everyone here ;)

I finally made some Orange Creamsickle..letting it percolate overnight before I try it.....

I figure if it doesn't mutate and sprout legs it should be good to go..... Homer_Doh.jpg

ItTechy,I haven't tried Bill's rendition of it yet,i tried the flavor as a stand alone and it was ok,but the orange is very faint in it.I also tried one posted in another thread here, and that was the one thing people kept saying on it,was the orange was weak in it too,so i had the bright idea to make that recipe, and then add 2% tangerine to it,i dont have any regular orange,so figured this would work ok.What i ended up with was cream and orange peel haha.Once i get the rest of what i need,i will retry that one,and also Bill's version.

Indeed the TFA Orange Cream is a rather weak flavor, so I subtracted 2 ml of dilutent and added 2 ml of TFA Sweet Orange...

The Sweet Orange was only listed in the "Bulk Sizes" and it says that after 3/14 that they may not be carrying it anymore; TFA refers you to Liberty Natural for this Sweet Orange Oil.

BTW: I just checked and it allowed me to add it to my cart, so it appears to still be available from TFA.

I'll be sure to post a follow up after I try it tomorrow some time..

Please do! I have a something I want to make BAD! Remember those chocolate oranges you used to be able to get (I'm sure you can somewhere, I can't find the original ones anymore here in COS) at the drug stores. You had to smack em on the counter to get the segments to separate? Ya, THAT!

Renilyn, you'll probably be able to find those during the Christmas season. I know just what you're talking about :D You can get them year round here at Walgreens.

Goodlife Vapors has a chocolate orange vape that I had high hopes for, thinking of just those chocolate oranges, but alas, it was a dud (imo). Please post if you work it out, would love a good version of this but I haven't messed around with any chocolate flavorings yet with the exception of Cap fudge brownie.

Dena,

I absolutely will! I just have to get the chocolates and an "appropriate" orange. They use ONLY orange oil in production of those bad boys....so of course, its a good place to start. Though as I've learned very quickly-it is close, but not quite, like cooking. lol

I like this one.

Blueberry Bubble Candy

10% Bubble Gum
10% Blueberry Candy
5% Cotton Candy

Might have gone a bit overboard with the EM. It is super sweet in kayfun style attys, but not too bad in others. Also the blueberry doesn't seem to be quite where I want it yet, started at 2.5% and it's up to 10% now. I don't have TFA wild type blueberry, only candy and extra and also FA bilberry. Is the wild blueberry more potent? Extra and candy seem a bit too subtle for me.

You may have to add creams and vanillas to smooth it out and get it to where you want it. :toast:

I see the 100 drop test being easy way to dial in a recipe but how does the viscosity of the PG and VG not throw off everything when converting to larger batches?

Yes, there is a difference in drop count per ml due to the viscosity.
If I am making a small 2-3ml test of a flavor, I have to use drops.

So what I did was measure and count how many drops of each liquid it took to make a ml.
I got a different drop count for the PG, VG, Nicotine (in it's base), and the flavorings.
I use the e-juice-me-up calculator, and where it call for the drops per mile, I put in the count for the base with the nicotine in it. ..VG ? PG? or Mixed?
Then I print the recipe out, and while it's still on the screen, I go back and change the drop count for each of the other three, one at a time, recalculate, and then I cross out the one on the printed sheet, replacing it with the correct count.

The ml's called for never change, but the drop count for each does
Sound like a pain to go through, but it works great for small samplers, that you want to make using the correct amount of drops.

Measuring with ml's, is not a problem, and always comes out the same, but using drops, you have to know how many drops each liquid needs for a ml, or when you make a larger amount using a syringe, it won't taste the same, because you didn't use the correct amount of drops on the smaller test.
Hope I haven't lost you

ALL TFA blueberry flavors are weaksauce. The FA bilberry is one of maybe a couple blueberry flavors I have yet to try... How is it? strength?
