Got this off a DIY page and thought I'd share. She has been mixing for a long time and compared it to Capellas VC original version after a 4 day steep... YMMV

It can be done...
'Safe' (DA and AP Free) Vanilla Custard
5% TPA Vanilla Bean Gelato
5% TPA French Vanilla Creme (both new flavors)
2% TPA Brown Sugar Extra
3% TPA Cotton Candy
Tastes great- checked the spec sheet for AP and DA

Yeah, I've never used it, myself, or even seen it. I just found it in the bulk section. This is a must, for sure. How did it work for you, and where did you find it most useful, Vic?

Totally agree, TFA is NOT the best stand alone, but as you mention, they are one of the best mixing juices because you can lock in high flavoring percentage flavorings at mix. That is a big plus, rather than guessing how it might taste a week later. How could you reliably make good juice if that were the case, yet, I've seen some that swear by it, even recently. Would drive me nuts to wait a week or two to see if something were any good. With TFA you can make really good mixes that can become really great mixes, and often do, with completion of flavor blending in a day or two. While I do use other flavors, sparingly, this aspect of TFA is it's most attractive quality to me, and why I remain a big fan. Sounds like you are in the same school, huh Vic? Best! :toast: :D :vapor:

Edit:

Would it be possible to see your Strawberries and Cream flavor recipe? I am always looking to find that best way to make this super popular juice. I have one, and it's a match that I made for a vendor, and not a juice I made for myself, so maybe there's a better way. Appreciate it, Vic! Best!

My favorite versions do not use all TFA. but with that said this is my latest revision of Straw/Cream all TFA

8% Strawberry Ripe
4% Strawberry
4% Vanilla Swirl
3% Sweet Cream
3% Dairy
2% Bavarian Cream
2% Whipped Cream
1% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
.66% EM/Cotton Candy

ALL TFA blueberry flavors are weaksauce. The FA bilberry is one of maybe a couple blueberry flavors I have yet to try... How is it? strength?

I have never found a blueberry I could taste.
The FA bilberry is good. it's a strong flavor.
If you traveled to Europe and asked for a blueberry waffle, it would be bilberries.
Our blueberries are white inside, and the bilberry is dark.
Other than that, they are identical.
The flavoring is fairly strong, so I only use 1%.
To me, it's not perfect, but it's as close to a blueberry flavor as I've found .. and I've tried about 5 different company's.

Sorry if I confused you
You only have to measure them once, and your good to go as long as you don't switch nozzle sizes
(guess I just made it worst )

Yes, there is a difference in drop count per ml due to the viscosity.
If I am making a small 2-3ml test of a flavor, I have to use drops.

So what I did was measure and count how many drops of each liquid it took to make a ml.
I got a different drop count for the PG, VG, Nicotine (in it's base), and the flavorings.
I use the e-juice-me-up calculator, and where it call for the drops per mile, I put in the count for the base with the nicotine in it. ..VG ? PG? or Mixed?
Then I print the recipe out, and while it's still on the screen, I go back and change the drop count for each of the other three, one at a time, recalculate, and then I cross out the one on the printed sheet, replacing it with the correct count.

The ml's called for never change, but the drop count for each does
Sound like a pain to go through, but it works great for small samplers, that you want to make using the correct amount of drops.

Measuring with ml's, is not a problem, and always comes out the same, but using drops, you have to know how many drops each liquid needs for a ml, or when you make a larger amount using a syringe, it won't taste the same, because you didn't use the correct amount of drops on the smaller test.
Hope I haven't lost you

Using the 100 drop test is a matter of using one drop per each 1% of flavoring. So, the number of drops per milliliter does not matter, because the mix is based on percentages and not drops. We are not measuring volume or mass here, only percentage of mix, so it will directly translate and has no bearing on viscosity.

ok this will be a top seller for ya Bill

The Bomb.com

8% Juicy Peach
7% Strawberry
6% Apple
.66% EM/Cotton Candy
.33% Smooth

Great fresh but once the alcohol evaporates off from the JP and it chills for a few days it really becomes rad.
This is a fruit with no cream that I may actually be able to handle!!

Just a question guys?
Been browsing through TFA page.
What ingedient should i avoid in flavors? Acetoine is one from what i have read.

Any others?

BR
P

Acetoin ,Diacetyl and Acetyl Priopynl.
If you are on the TFA website look at the flavor descriptions...it quite clearly says which flavors contain those ingredients

A simple recipe and an observation

2.5% menthol
1% cinnamon redhots
0.5% chocolate

Very good and I was enjoying it......

But then I added
6% sweet cream

Holy cow....I am going to have to cut my menthol down to 2%

It was good before but now it is right on the money :D

The observation: That sweet cream was the secret to making the other flavors POP.

Using the 100 drop test is a matter of using one drop per each 1% of flavoring.

Oooop's, sorry Bill
I wasn't addressing those who use your "100 drop" method.

I was speaking to those who have the supplies, and want to throw together a small sample test bottle, but don't have a base mix
Putting in each ingredient solo, from scratch, I have to know the drops per mil of each to get it right.

I did not assume that everyone here, was already using your method, and I should have.
So probably spoke out of context ... I'll go back to lurking

I'm not a big menthol fan,but this actually sounds good, but of course, you guessed it,i dont have all the flavors haha,i have the menthol and sweet cream,so i'm 50% there,i even have a cinnamon and 2 different chocolates, but of course they are all notthe right ones. One day soon,i will try this haha.I made an apple menthol a while ago that was pretty good, now i may have to make a new batch of it and try your idea of adding the sweet cream and see what it does for that.
