Robin that's 9 miles for today? You're hips are gonna be sore tomorrow.

I did my run in the cold this morning. I really can't believe I've avoided it for so long.

I know they probably will be hurting. Hopefully not too bad. If so, I will take it easy for the day.
And yeah, 9 miles for the day. I miscalculated a recipe and thought I had waaaay more calories and panicked

Weight: 137.6

Calories the program budgeted for today: Same as yesterday at 1270
Metabolic rate has dropped again: 1588

Goal: 4 miles

Hips aren't to bad today, I was surprised. I think I will do my miles later in the day. I don't eat enough in the morning to be able to do that much so early. The 4 that I did last night was not as hard on me physically. Early in the day, when I do them, I feel weak during and after for a bit.

Yep, still a learning process :)

Preservation of .. and health of the body is important and you are doing awesome at that. Please don't push it to where you injure yourself, because you are already a gorgeous lady!!! Being a gimp myself,... I can say that although you would be a very lovely gimp..a gimp is a gimp and I don't wish that on anyone.
I'm proud of you btw. ;)

DH gave me my gift today. Fitbit Charge. I've decided to return it tho, as the Fitbit Charge HR (with continuous heart rate monitor) comes out next month and I really want the HR monitor part. One of my running friends got a Polar today as well. Will see how she likes it also.

I guess I should jump in an join you all here. I have picked up 40 pounds since I quit smoking almost a year ago. I don't blame the quit smoking for my weight gain but just simply filling my face with junk junk and more junk. I feel that if I can quit smoking for a year then I can eat healthier for this next year. My weakness is potato chips but lately I have been eating more than that for junk food. Not sure what my plan is just yet for getting active but I do know I am going to eat healthier this year. As for today I painted 2 bedrooms and tomorrow doing a third one. That's gotta take care of some calories. :)
