I guess I should jump in an join you all here. I have picked up 40 pounds since I quit smoking almost a year ago. I don't blame the quit smoking for my weight gain but just simply filling my face with junk junk and more junk. I feel that if I can quit smoking for a year then I can eat healthier for this next year. My weakness is potato chips but lately I have been eating more than that for junk food. Not sure what my plan is just yet for getting active but I do know I am going to eat healthier this year. As for today I painted 2 bedrooms and tomorrow doing a third one. That's gotta take care of some calories. :)

So I ended up doing a couple (2) miles anyway. I was sitting looking at the calories I had left for the day and wanted a little snack last night.

Did the miles, didn't eat the snack. Weight..... no gain...no loss.

Calorie budgeted for today: 1228 Yesterday's budget: 1235
Metabolic rate for today: 1564 Yesterday's rate: 1571

The program is probably scratching its head thinking what's wrong with this chick. :lol:

Anyway.... the next few days are going to be killer >_<

Goal: 4 miles elliptical
Figuring out what the heck to make for dinner tonight. I don't want leftovers since I am making a big dinner and plenty of leftovers for the next few days. I don't want to make fish since that will leave a smell in the house for days. ugh.

I will figure it out ;)

Sorry to be mia for awhile. :) Life is busy around the holidays. I have been averaging 13,000 steps a day and working with the home gym which I can only do a few times a week as it's so DAMN boring. I'm a horse girl. I need to be outside so I picked up a volunteer job for 2 hours a day and I'm picking 16 paddocks and turning in 16 horses. :facepalm: I'm now pushing 25,000 steps a day and I'm eating EVERYTHING but mostly good food. I would say 80% raw right now,

I've been a really good girl with food for the last few months so tonight I had seafood (crab and lobster) and tomorrow I'm having ham and a turkey dinner. I'm going to eat my face clean off, I swear. :) I think I've lost a few pounds but I haven't moved a belt loop on the size 6 jeans yet so I guess it's not 10 pounds yet?

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas everyone. It's after 11, I'm drinking wine and I've lost my 9 year old son to a PS4 he got as an early Xmas present. sigh. Why didn't I buy it sooner? :facepalm: So just kidding.
