Nope, it's going to make the plaintiff look like an internet addicted stalker in court and be a total distraction garnishing undeserved sympathy for the defendant. The instant you do that they will obtain a restraining order against you and he'll try to find a way of mentioning that in court.

These cases are decided by 300/hr attorneys. That's pretty much what a judge is, Your loss of 300 dollars six months ago is going to seem trivial if you go overboard.

Hellooooo signature!

Soulcage those are epic... funniest chit I've seen in a long time... funny cause its true.

I have submitted a fraud claim through IC3. I strongly encourage all victims of Jason to do the same asap. In my claim, I gave links to the two jbox threads on the ECF for information.

I will be IC3'ing tonight!

That's pretty much exactly what I typed up. Just asking if they know anything about what's going on with him. Have they been in contact with him, is he still working on Jboxes etc. etc. In no way shape or form would I come at anyone with hostility about it. It's not their fault, they aren't involved in anyway. And I plan to treat them as such. I'm just curious if they happen to know if he's still working on them.

Not a victim of this or involved other than outrage for my fellow vapers.I have been following silently but must comment here just out of wanting to know legal ramifications.I believe to contact family etc.of his ,the wording of an INQUIRY on his whereabouts and welfare both because of concern over his lack of communication because he has a number of un- filled orders which have been paid for.....also to assertain if he has suffered some dire event.I hope I'm making sense here.Present the facts .... There is /was no other options to find out what happened other than to contact family .Presented in a non -accusatory manner there should be no bad fallout from contacting family. I return to minding my own buisness with sincere hope you all recieve satisfaction you both deserve and desire;mod or $$.My support is with you.

Looking back over this thread, I don't see any indications that Jason's family had anything to do with this predicament ... unless I've missed something that definitely indicates family involvement, I'd soft-pedal contacting his family. I think you risk all kinds of legal issues (harassment, defamation, etc.), plus you could actually make Jason the victim in the eyes of the law ... rethink this.

I think you missed the point, its not to threaten his family, but to say kind of like "hey, did you know that Jason took $250 plus from 27 people who agreed to build something for and now refuses to produce the product nor the money, does he have a history of being a con man? Could you please help us"

Any lawyer worth the salt would have a field day with this! Do this, and you'll hand the advantage to Jason. I know how frustrated you must be, but take care ... you may very well be inadvertently doing damage to your case.

No its not, not as long as you do it in a respectful manner, as long as you don't threaten someone, or make threats at Jason, and you keep it clean, and don't harass them, this would be no different than any other civil matter.

And no a lawyer wouldn't have a feild day with this. Again, this is no different than a normal civil matter where I am at a grocery store and I see someone and ask them if they've seen so and so because they owe me money.

Collection agencies do the same thing all the time.

I spend at least 1 day in court every week for civil matters, and this does come up, and most judges will look at this as a victim trying to reach someone who is clearly hiding.

Cops do it, collection agencies do it, and yes banks do it too, ever cosigned on a loan? You'll get a letter in the mail if they miss a payment, and you better believe they will harass the hell out of you.

I agree. Dealings with Jason at this point should still be with him and him alone. If we get the usual no reply, then we will just have to put the hammer down and grant him no quarter and sic all the resources we have available on him.

I'm still holding him to this statement that he made on the last update email:

"Now that some things are behind, me my plan is to finish up all of the current orders and try to have everything complete in January. After I get caught up I will not be making Jboxs for the public anymore but will still honor warranties for existing customers. I am definitely not trying to take off with anyone’s money and not give them what they ordered."

This is damning to him if he does not make good on his word. I'm mad as hell don't get me wrong, but the clock's tickin' on his part and he better deliver.

And to those peeps in the community that have shows on the net like the vape team (though highly unlikely) and click-bang, etc., I implore you to set aside some time in your show to make this known to everyone watching and listening. We can't let this guy off the hook.
