The "JBox" Issue

I think that vendors should agree to only accept payment under the condition that they can ship within 40 days. My question is why do we continue to pay this far in advance for anything. If you are making money from our community some rules should be put into place. May not be a popular view but our lax requirements for vendors is part of the problem here.

Can I ask... What is this JollyRoger??? I am just curious, for obvious reasons... I don't think it has anything to do with me, but then again, I didn't even know what the Jbox was until now and have no clue as to what the "VapeTeam" is as I do not watch any vape talk shows as I find them sort of over the top weird.

Pretty sure it's not about you. Unless you were "making" mods called the Wink a few months back and took a whole bunch of money from people and then disappeared.

Im just going to say one more thing then shut up on the whole issue. This thread isnt just for the people that have been affected by Jason taking your money and not delivering on said product.

Some people posted in this thread because they could sympathize with you guys, either because they've been taken advantage of before or because they are genuinely nice people.

Others have been reading this thread and hopefully your experience and everyone's advice and support will help them either avoid being taken advantage of or give em an idea of what they can do if it happens to them in the future.

I can understand every one of you guys being angry and justifiably so, but telling everyone else to .... out kinda defeats one of the purposes of a forum like this to start with and also seems a little misdirected.

I agree with Ripple, were far stronger as a community than we are as individuals.

I don't know, I personally believe without the pressure on the vapeteam also not a darned thing would have happened. I do not agree with Lou's take on this, I think it takes a village to bring about change, even those who aren't part of the initial problem, and that's why there has been some action taken at this time. I will try and listen tonight, Kev, your take may be interesting -- but Russ' will be less guarded I'll wager.......

They absolutely needed to be brought in only because as his friends they told tons of fans to trust this guy i have nothing against anyone on vapeteam or jason for that matter as long as he follows through and does as promised then there is no issue but until a resolution is here it certainly weighs on them as promoters of the product and ill say it again i dont have a problem as long as he fixes his mistake i will not order another thing from the guy if he starts the site up again but thats the price you pay when business goes badly again all these guys everyone i have ever dealt with so far aces in my book but they were called forward for that purpose and they seem to be up to making some kind of a statement and that is more than the man at fault could conjure until yesterday

I actually I agonized for a couple of weeks on that one, if you go back to August and look in the Darwin thread on the NHALER forum I asked for opinions.

I finally decided on Ebony/Ebony, I have a Lavatank that will look spectacular on this thing.

Well......I hate to say it like this, and I know this is gonna sound really really shortsided and evil of me, but if hadn't already seen it posted somewhere else, I wouldn't have thought of it, but there are going to be something like, what? 40 at most, of these things? That means they will likely have some kind of nice resale value, which is a pretty good silver lining for those of us who have had to wait for months on end.

3 months than i look my JBox and still don't understand how it can be opened.

Yep but personnaly i take the risk to buy a sealed box new but would not buy a "used" one except if the battery was just changed..
