Why would you take the word of someone who has been stringing you along and lying to you?

Just because he sent you a message after feeling pressured, and threatened with legal action is no reason to go soft.

I would strongly suggest that if you can get a refund to do it.
Who knows what the future brings, but cash in your account can buy you another device.

He said that the orders would be fulfilled in January.

I don't think it would be unreasonable to expect him to post a weekly update for those 27 outstanding orders. Nor would it be unreasonable to demand a refund right now. If he refunded some of those orders then it would be easier to fulfill the remaining orders and this could be over, for a price.

I mean he wouldn't be exactly left holding the bag on the declined mods, right? Presumably they are worth something and can still be sold to someone else.

And where is he supposed to post? He can't. And, never should have about the Jbox on ECF, which he did on various occasions. I do not believe he was ever a registered supplier here. And, he has "moved on" status. That means he was banned for infractions, (some which might be able to be amended and status re-instated,) or decided himself to take a leave of absence from ECF. That's what "moved on" means.

And -- I sure wish ECF had a way we could easily find out who is a registered supplier and the other similar designations.

You make really good points, I asked for a refund, I'm thinking about asking again, but I doubt I will get it, so, I'm looking for the silver lining, and maybe hopefully he just got himself in a mess and stuff happened and the personal stuff happened, and it just deteriorated from there. Not going soft as much as just hoping for the best in a bad situation.

I'd definitely ask for a refund again if it's what you really want. Although if yours was already started it might be tough to get a refund. I think the only reason I "might" be getting a refund is because mine wasn't even started yet.

Well......I hate to say it like this, and I know this is gonna sound really really shortsided and evil of me, but if hadn't already seen it posted somewhere else, I wouldn't have thought of it, but there are going to be something like, what? 40 at most, of these things? That means they will likely have some kind of nice resale value, which is a pretty good silver lining for those of us who have had to wait for months on end.

It says under their avatar - registered supplier, forum supplier, or supplier associate or affiliate (one of those last two - can't remember exact words).

I was referring to a list, similar to member list. We have a list of vendors with sub-forum, but not these other designations.

Very short notes are that the team says they didnt know this was going on and they cant get a hold of Jason either. They think people who sent him money should try to get it back however they can.

Yeah but they as much as told people to pursue that avenue. I don't think they would have any skin in a criminal matter anyways.
