Next I'm in WW on the right day I'll take pics,I swear people go in there and buy carts full of junk food and soda and most of the time have little kids with them
I see that too!! I couldn't even like that post.
It's absolutely disgusting. These poor kids don't have a chance.
Mom always had a meat, chicken, or fish, and two veggies, bread & butter, and usually some sort of fruit...now the fruit was canned in syrup...but it would be a small serving in those little dessert type cups/dishes.

When I was little, I had to have milk with dinner.

I always put away about 1/2 gallon a day till I went into the service when I was in there it was free 24/7 most of the time, I know I kept a few cows busy :D

:laugh:Yup the good old veggie drawer
    Ewww ... ewwwwww!
That was a lot of fun to clean up I bet!

I think I've had it hold (well) for a week. I just use a drinking glass or a glass jar.
We'll eat it in a week, so I can't say if it holds longer than that.
I'd share the BIG bag I used to get because we'd never eat it all.
A week is plenty long enough :thumb:

At our house that's known as "the rotter" (bin).

Welp, I guess I should run and go soak.
I've got errands to run and a dr. appt. in the a.m. (check up). :nah:
I'll swing back though later. :)
    See you later maybe :)

My coffee pot and misc. accessories have left Ft. Worth, should be here Friday.

Good evening folks  just got home from kiddo's first Chorus/recorder concert. ::sniff, sniff:: He's growing so fast. Omgosh, there are about 240ish kids in his grade. DH predicts by the time he graduates there will be about 300  Graduation will take hours. The district grows every year.

    I know right? :p:lol:

Thanks Sara...yes, they are all fine...everything passed through and at least here, it's sunny again....and HOT. :glare:

Hope you get some answers that will help things. :nun:

I'll take some of #3 please Dale. :D

Happy to hear all are ok :)

I have 2 tears along with alot of fraying in the shoulder looks like I will need surgery. I will have too think this over, I still have the bicep to think about also.

I know you went to bed, but wow. :( would you be able to go off on disability for the recovery time. I'm sorry Joey.

I hope we're about done for a few days. We're mushy here like OBG said.
That's too bad he doesn't like it. If you put a fresh cut on it and put it in water, it should hold a long time.
I will put an open zip lock baggie on the top so the tips get some moisture in the fridge too.
Just don't let it get so wet that they mold.
Asparagus will hold longer the way I just described than in the bag....just my personal experience. :)

Tuna subs sound good too!! :D

Learn something new every day :) DH leaves the asparagus in the bag he brings it home in. He only buys a small bunch and eats it twice during the week. I will let him know it will last longer this way. So he doesn't feel like he has to eat it.

Yay!!! When I was looking at facebook today, I had several suggested ads that were coffee pots and accessories. It was funny. No Le Creuset though.

I don't remember how much we paid, maybe $5. He wanted to play trumpet or trombone next year in band, until I showed him the spit valve. He said um maybe the clarinet.

You are right :) I get all emotional at his "firsts" and I forgot my Kleenex. Bwahahaha. But it feels like it's going too fast. 3rd grade is almost over.

That's good that it's not going to get too cold. And I would have covered it too, if it were mine. :)
