Wow, you had your own live entertainment
Yep...but the neighbors weren't always happy about their practice sessions...we had one grumpy neighbor who used to call the cops and complain about the noise, but the cops just told them it was the middle of the day and they weren't bothering anyone and that they were glad to see them doing something productive instead of out on the streets causing trouble.

That is so cool. :) my brother played the drums. How old are all of your children?
They are all grown now. The oldest is 25 and the twins are 22....but me, I haven't aged a bit since 29...they'll be passing me by pretty soon. :p:lol:

I always put away about 1/2 gallon a day till I went into the service when I was in there it was free 24/7 most of the time, I know I kept a few cows busy :D
    I go through a lot of milk...still. :D

Had to go out and cover my peony just in case  Hope it doesn't blow away!
A couple bricks on top of the bucket usually solves that. :)

One of my favorites from last spring. Hope yours does alright!
    Gorgeous!! :)
Welcome!! Come back anytime. We all started out as lurkers too.

Wait, I'm confused now. When it's 8 here it's 7 there. So if NCIS comes on here at 8, it's on at 7 there? Some days I feel like an airhead, did that go over my head?
    Don't feel like an airhead.
I had to try to explain to my BFF in NC how I was watching the sun set one night, when her's had already set.
...it wasn't pretty. She just wasn't grasping it.
    I finally gave up.

    Loved all the musical stories!

I played the clarinet in 6th and 7th grade.
When I went into 8th grade, you had to go to a different teacher, well I guess "director".
He was mean and hateful, to pretty much everyone, and several of us quit because it just wasn't fun anymore.

I tried the piano, before the clarinet.
My mom had always wanted a piano, I did it more for her than for me, it just wasn't my thing...and, I *really* didn't want to practice. That was short lived.
Thankfully they had just rented that.
Hey, summer vacations went fast enough, I didn't want to be stuck inside practicing the piano.

Then when my grandmother passed, mom inherited some money from her, so she bought an organ, and "she" took lessons.
Oh my gosh, she was sooooo proud of that organ!! Thank goodness you could use headphones with it if you wanted to.:lol::lol:
I don't know if anyone remembers when they had them in malls.
Now, I will say, looking back, the organ was fun! I was way too cool for it at the time, but we had a lot of fun family sing-a-longs, at holidays and get togethers. Mom on the organ, and me with the clarinet.

    Sweet dreams all.
