    Yes it IS.
I just carried my 4 geraniums outside. Decided to go early this year and I was able to get the coral color I so love.
I rarely get there early enough to get them.
So, yeah...I'm with you it's hot.
Our air went on day before yesterday. Hasn't run much, but it is today for sure.

    Good afternoon lovely lurkers.

Was busy filing taxes, mine and the boys, all day...looks like only the college boy owes...those scholarships are great, but unfortunately some of it counts as income. :glare:

Now I'm shopping based on my refund coming.

Hasn't been too hot here today, low 70s and a nice breeze out there...bf got the new tires put on my car this morning, so now I'm good to go again.

Pretty flower Dale...and good find on yours Lori...I'm too lazy to deal with flowers, so I just enjoy everybody else's. ;)

Hope everyone has had a great day so far. :)

    Hi Angel.
Wow, bet you have been busy!!
Yea on the new tires, always hate having to buy them, but definitely a necessity.

I saw 82 earlier, very windy.
DH had left early this a.m., by 6:15 to go deliver equipment 3 hours N of here, he got home around 2:30, with a box of pool chemicals...needless to say, the pool is uncovered, plugs out, and water getting added to it.
Didn't know we were doing that today, but it's done. ;)
Still a ways to go, it's totally brown, but it always is when it first gets opened....gross more like it.
But it's gotten so warm, and the frogs are out, so it's best to get it going and circulating.

I'm getting lazier when it comes to flowers, and the last few years, I've debated even getting any.
Then I put it off, and put it off, then end up seeing all the pretty flowers around and go get some.
By that time the coral geraniums are long gone. So, I went ahead and just got them.

Guess I better get dinner pulled out. Leftover meatloaf and sweet potatoes. :)

Good evening friends  Hope you all had a good day. It was beautiful this morning, rained for a bit in the afternoon and ending with the sun out. Though very windy.

We had a Easter Egg hunt this morning, postponed from last weekend. We colored a few eggs this afternoon. The boys are dressed in their Sunday best and heading to church for the evening service.

We had Philly cheesesteak quesadillas on whole wheat tortillas for dinner with a side salad. They were very good and I can see them being added to the rotation. Didn't even miss the white steak roll. ;)

Dale, so glad you will get to spend some time with Bela. Yay!! Enjoy!!

How exciting getting the pool ready for the summer, Lori. Super jealous but I know they are a lot of work.

Glad to hear you got new tires for the car, Angel :) DH just finished our taxes too. He was irritated that we have to include driver's license number/photo doc number this year. It's something new, so that when people fail to pay, their license gets suspended in the great state of NY.

Paul, very good news you got to relax for a bit, yesterday. :)

Oh, you've had a fun day!! :) What great memories!!
We used to have Easter egg hunts at my parents when we were all little. Me, my nieces and nephews, and usually a cousin or two.

Your dinner sounds great too, will have to try that on the whole wheat tortillas. I bet you don't miss the bread at all.

Wow, NY has some strict laws, no doubt about that. The sad thing is, those who aren't going to pay prob won't worry about driving suspended either. :(

Pools are relaxing, AND a lot of work. It was here when we bought it. We'd have never spent the $$ to install one like this. The seller had divorced and was motivated to sell, plus he was moving out of state and wanted to get out from under it...the house was fine, just absolutely FILTHY....I didn't care cuz it had a pool.
But, I won't have another most likely.

Leftover meatloaf sounds good!...We're having sliders here tonight.

I'd still have a pool if I had someone who could keep it all sparkly and pretty for me...but since I can't afford a pool boy, no pool for me. ;)
It was good. :) Sliders sound good too!!
I hear ya. If I didn't have DH to do it, I wouldn't have one either. :)

The Lion's Club sponsors an egg hunt every year up to the age of 10 on the grounds of a local school. We've gone pretty much every year. It's fun to watch all the different age groups. My mom always hid eggs for us as well and she continues the tradition for kiddo. :) the Easter bunny does here too

I'm excited to try different kinds of quesadillas on the whole wheat tortilla. Not sure why I never thought of it before. I saw a buzz feed video and the light bulb went on. Endless possibilities there. Definitely try it out.

You are right about the drivers here in NY. The stories I could tell. Bwahahaha. I did see that our budget passed without a ban on vaping or heavy duty taxes, so yay!!

One year we had one of those inflatable blue ring pools. Spread it out, blow up the blue ring (well use an air compressor lol) and it stands up on its own as you fill the pool up. Water came up to my ribs, I even had a floaty to lay on. The next year no matter what we tried, we couldn't get it to go back up without leaning. I was so bummed. I would love to put one in here. But that will be awhile. :nah:
