Working on my 2nd cuppa now. :)

    Yep, make another pot. ;)
Do you make 12 cups?
Just 10 cups, so about 5 cups

...why did I do this?? I was just really curious how it tasted. :D

Yep, all the French press really does is filter out your grounds ;) And makes a mess to clean up

    Goodness!
That's some serious coffee there
    :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I got mine for under $200 the best coffee maker I ever spent money on, have it almost 4 years now. I got tired of buying the cheapo's every 6 months.

Looks like I'll be out all afternoon entertaining DH :?: At least I'll get a nice meal out of the deal

    Oh wow, Lol's.
I was really just kidding about the one I posted. ;) I bet it would work great, but it looks a little worse for wear.

Not what I am looking for, I have not searched for the one I want. It needs to be real simple to clean up with out to much mess I am asking alot tho lol
I agree, simple and easy to clean!!

Right, I can't do that ... septic tank here.
    Yeah, I'd forgotten that. :(
Growing up, we were on septic. I think my mom dumped her grounds in a gal. ice cream bucket, that she recycled for veggie scraps, and coffee grounds, she'd dump it out in the woods every evening.
What coffee grounds remained, she'd just rinse out. She had a garbage disposal, it just really only got used for that, and if anything accidentally went down the sink.

The previous owners did have a disposal installed, guess they didn't know you shouldn't use those with a septic tank
    I don't use it ;)

Eh, who knows, maybe it'll be fun :)

    Good morning Sara
You sure are a busy lady!
I need a nice break. Ugh, prolly not til Memorial Day.

Working on my 2nd cuppa now. :)

    Yep, make another pot. ;)

    Good morning Sara.
I'm bad with it too. On, off...on, off...rinse, repeat.
DH grumbles, but I tell him to "just go on".

...as my grandparents aged, and started getting senile, mom and dad moved them into a mobile home they had bought and put it on our property out in the country where I grew up.
There were 11 acres, so plenty of room.
Bless their hearts, at first, they'd have the air going, then the furnace would kick on, back and forth.
Dad caught on to it and got it stopped so that they understood how to set it. It was their first central air unit, and just didn't quite understand how to run it all.

Oh no. Glad your Dad figured it out and set it for them. Yep, DH knows better than to argue with me over them thermostat. Lolol

...why did I do this?? I was just really curious how it tasted. :D

So then you don't really need a french press. Kidding. :)

Ok, I need a cocktail....so mom was coming at 7:30 to pick up the muffins. I told her that was a good time, we'd all be up as we had to leave by 9 for Lacrosse. Except everyone slept in  I opened my eyes at 7:29. Jumped out of bed and sure enough she was sitting in the driveway. Kiddo NEVER sleeps past 6:30ish. We get to the school for Lacrosse and no one is there. :?: Somebody missed the memo that there was no Lacrosse today. Yet, there is Floor Hockey (same place, different sports org) o_O

While kiddo is playing I use that time to get my produce list in order because we go shopping after. So now I'm scrambling to get a list together and realize we never finished our menu planning last night because we were making the muffins. Oy Vey!

So dinner tonight: chicken stir fry, lemon chicken pasta, chicken quesadillas AND while we were in line, there were gorgeous looking eggplants calling my name. So we grabbed a couple of those. This is what happens when I don't have my list.:lol::lol:

Looks like a game of rock, paper, scissors is in order to figure out which is for dinner. :D

We have a septic and a disposal too, but I don't really use it much. When I do it's usually just any small scraps from washing dishes. I don't purposely put anything in it.

I already need a nap from just reading your goings on for today.:lol::lol:
I used to run a lot in my 20's & 30's. By 45 I was done running all over. (errands and such)

That's how my mom used hers too. :)

Hahaha, I'm so unorganized today. Not sure what happened.
