Yep, my toes hurt.
I told DH when we were outside earlier, just before the storm, that it was so humid you could cut it with a knife, drop it in a paper bag and carry it off.

Nephew is back at home in S. Florida, safe and sound.
His flight out of St. Louis was delayed almost an hour.
His connecting flight was Atlanta. He texted me that he was so excited, he landed at gate B1, and his departing flight was B2. If you've ever been through the Atlanta airport....you realize this would be a true gift!!
Then he texted me from before his flight left, he said there was ONE empty seat on the plane, and it was in his row.
I told him he better buy a lottery ticket for tonight when he got home.

Lols, glad your nephew had a good trip!

Hope OBG is okay I think MO is dealing with flooding already.

I just took some Excederin Migraine...I have a wicked one brewing now.

Me too. I checked the power outage map. There's a small area SE of him that is out, but not sure how accurate the map is.
Maybe he'll check in soon.

So, we took a field trip yesterday and went to one of our job sites so everyone could see what all it is we are building and all the different phases that will be done...it's a very big project that involves both commercial and residential...somebody's going to have some very nice, but expensive waterfront lots...after that the boss took us out to lunch at one of our best local seafood restaurants...we sat outside by the water and enjoyed a nice afternoon breeze and some great food...so it was a pretty decent day yesterday.
