If they open up that to the next street, there will be a "for sale" sign in our yard. ;)

If it dead ends it might be vacated (check with the city or county land office) or could be,if it isn't you might ask them to do that and if they do no more problem :2c:

Hiya, yep we got lots and lots of water round here.

Watching the news this evening doesn't make it sound like summer will change it all that much. They are predicting no drought like conditions like we had last year and it doesn't sound like it will be a scorcher either. :nah: I don't like wet summers. I like to be outdoors soaking up the sun.

Went on my lunch and paid my inspection parking violation. I got lucky, because it was ticketed while parked there was no $80+ surcharge. So it cost me $30. Live and learn.

Sorry you had cleanup to do today, Lori. That's no fun. :(

We are supposed to get more rain/storms on Thurs/Fri.

So, I guess I've turned into a coffee snob.
I hadn't been to work since last Tues., and all I've had is this awesome coffee that my nephew recommended and I had ordered...
I had a cup this a.m. at work and wanted to GAG.  I'm thinking (going forward) I'll need to take a thermos if I want to have coffee at work.

On the original village map, the street goes thru, but they never got around to finish connecting the streets, and now he thinks that part of the land is his.

I gained 1/2 a road on the north side of my property that way,the city vacated it then I paid for survey and had it added to my property description all nice and legal :)

It definitely dead ends. It's a fully established yard that gets mowed and is lined in (his) ornamental grasses.

I didn't have much cleaning up to do. The service manager sent people over from the service department to vac up the water, then they rented a carpet cleaner...

Well, that's just it, they're wanting to reserve the right to open it up and finish the road at some point.
It doesn't touch any of our property, just the house directly behind us, and the man who lives diagonally from us.

Bwahahaha. Sorry the work coffee was gross. :)
It was gross. I'll just tell them that what I bring is decaf..:sneaky:..NO ONE will want any then.

I know it was after 11:30 by the time I fell asleep too.

I think the guy I've been talking about is who I'm hearing that is out mowing.

Sounds like it's time for a second FP for the office :Dyou could heat your water in the micro real fast ;)
I already thought about that!!
But, then what to do with the grounds. I only have two more cups at work, then I quit, so I can just make extra here...but THAT'S where the second FP would come in handy.
It would've been nice when my family was here. They don't want coffee out of an auto drip maker.
They're NOT fancy, nose held high people (at all), but don't get between them and their "good" coffee.
I never knew the difference, now I kind of wish I didn't know the difference.
It's all what you get used to, just my opinion.
