    Good morning all.
Yep, Hwy 44 closed. I looked at Mo Dot, it says 502 roads/interstates are closed.
The gal I work with is debating trying to go in. She said they closed 30, and that they're watching 55 now.
She can still get to 55 she said, but traffic is going to be unbelievable.

Then, we're supposed to get another 1 to 3 from tonight through Thurs. :(

Need to go to my dental appt., then will decide if I'll go in. :grr:

Hope everyone has a great day!!
At least the sun is out for now, and it's gorgeous. :)
    Good morning Lori

Wow, you guys are getting it bad :?: Why would you go in to work today?

Grocery shopping day again ... this is going to have to change I guess if I get that job

Well, this is what can happen...in the springtime, or in the case of 2015...the last week of Dec.
Either way, I'm sure thankful that it wasn't snow. Snow would've been awful, then it just would've melted then flooded.

Going to work cuz I didn't get enough done yesterday with the mess in the office, and the gal I work with leaving.
I ended up entering a bunch of sales tickets yesterday that she would have normally done, but she wasn't there to do them.
Also, I've just learned that my great nephew (brother's, daughter's, 20 year old) is in St. Louis in the hospital, emergency transfer from their local to St. Louis. I learned this just as I was leaving to go to the dental appt.
He woke up about 2:30 this a.m. having difficulty breathing. It was bad enough that he drove himself to the hospital.
They ran some tests, the dye test was one...and they are saying that he has a blood clot in a lung that is obstructing blood flow to the heart.
Now St. Louis is running tests, and they said he has a hole in his lung. So, they're waiting for the dr. to come in.
I don't know if he has both the clot, AND a hole, so I'll have to wait to find out.
    Getting info through my SIL.
I'd be most appreciative if you all could please send up prayers for him.

I have a couple things to do here, then I'm going to go on to work for a bit. Hopefully get a little more done there. :)

Dale, when will you know about this job?

I hear ya, I'm ready to be at home myself...and it was only a half day.

    Hi Paul

Thank you, I have a good feeling about it :)
I hope you get it Dale!!

Lori hope your nephew is getting all the help he needs, does he work around black mold because that stuff can eat a hole in your lung
He works for UPS (part time) loading trucks, but he lives in a rental trailer...I haven't seen it, but just going by his age, I would imagine it's a crapper.
(been there, got that t-shirt, but hey...beats mom's basement  )

They're trying to get a heart cath scheduled now to rule out anything to do with the heart.
They said it's definitely a hole in the lung, he has air in his chest cavity around the heart and his lung is compressed, so they are going to be treating that.
Then I guess at some point we'll hopefully find out the cause...could be he's around mold.

She just left. She said they're closing 55 down tonight, she won't be back until they get the roads open.
She *lives* on HIGH ground, she said if it floods at her house, we're ALL in trouble.
She can get around from where she lives in the country, to the next little town, the grocery store, etc....just can't get to the city, or across the river to IL.
