The rest of the afternoon stayed relatively quiet and I was even able to finally go through some of the cabinets and weed out old employees so we can have room to file away all the new ones.

So it turns out that it's a good thing that I believe in saving all my text messages and also in insisting in dealing with our problem child client from yesterday in texts or emails. I had a call from one of their employees today wanting to know where his check was. He was one who they told me to take off the payroll and that he wasn't really an employee but a consultant and they had already paid him. I did tell them that he had hours that looked like they should be paid, but they insisted they already had. So I took him off at their request.

Now when he went to them today to pick up his check, they tell him that we have the check. So my boss and I tell him about how they took him off and why, and now he's about to go raise hell with them. Turns out he had gotten fed up with their crap and quit last Friday, so they decided to be petty and not pay him and lie to us and to him about it all. This is so typical for them. Every other word out of their mouths is a lie...it's like they can't breathe without lying. This is why I protect myself by having what they tell me in writing...my mama didn't raise no fool! :sneaky:

Good morning Dale & Bobbi.

Well, this is what can happen...in the springtime, or in the case of 2015...the last week of Dec.
Either way, I'm sure thankful that it wasn't snow. Snow would've been awful, then it just would've melted then flooded.

Going to work cuz I didn't get enough done yesterday with the mess in the office, and the gal I work with leaving.
I ended up entering a bunch of sales tickets yesterday that she would have normally done, but she wasn't there to do them.
Also, I've just learned that my great nephew (brother's, daughter's, 20 year old) is in St. Louis in the hospital, emergency transfer from their local to St. Louis. I learned this just as I was leaving to go to the dental appt.
He woke up about 2:30 this a.m. having difficulty breathing. It was bad enough that he drove himself to the hospital.
They ran some tests, the dye test was one...and they are saying that he has a blood clot in a lung that is obstructing blood flow to the heart.
Now St. Louis is running tests, and they said he has a hole in his lung. So, they're waiting for the dr. to come in.
I don't know if he has both the clot, AND a hole, so I'll have to wait to find out.
    Getting info through my SIL.
I'd be most appreciative if you all could please send up prayers for him.

I have a couple things to do here, then I'm going to go on to work for a bit. Hopefully get a little more done there. :)

Dale, when will you know about this job?

Oh wow, Lori. Keeping him in my thoughts and prayers. Hope they get him back on his feet soon. :nun:

    Hi Bobbi

Oh dear! Sorry to hear that about your nephew Lori Of course we will say prayers for a good outcome :nun:

Job interview is tomorrow at 10 a.m. , I assume I'll know one way or the other before I leave :?:

    Good luck, Dale :)
