Going out in a little while to get a bulb to replace my brake light that went out, and get an industrial sized frozen daiquiri on the way back! :p

Do yourself a favor and spring for the heavy duty long life ones the last a bunch longer :2c:

Bwahahahaha you guys are a riot that's for sure. I'm over here laughing up a storm. You guys were busy this afternoon. :)

Dale, ouchie, your poor arm. Joey, hope your pain is tolerable.

I thought Oliver's blog post sounded slightly hopeful.

Leggings.....that's the trend these days. But they wear them as pants instead of under a long tunic. Looks awful.

Service was very nice. I am not a fan of "Amazing Grace", makes me sob EVERY time. Mother Daughter time was very nice too. Muchly needed and I came home with some new summer stuff...no leggings though. ;)

    Off to make dinner.
Laughter is good for you, especially after a day like today ;)

I've got one pair of leggings cause DD gave them to me BUT I'm one of those OBG was talking about  They're good for sleeping in

It doesn't hurt, just looks really ugly.

    Good afternoon lovely lurkers.

Consider all posts liked...was just too many to click that button on...my finger would be sore by now!

I'd wear those watermelon boots and wear them with pride!:p...But then again I love to be different! ;)...I had a very nice pair of red steel toe boots and a hot pink hardhat when I worked at the steel pipe plant...I loved my red boots! :D

Glad to see Joey made it through surgery okay...hoping and praying for an easy recovery for you. :nun:

Oh yeah, and I agree, getting old(er) sucks...I'm sitting here trying to remember the things I wanted to comment on, and I'm drawing a complete blank.

So, I was right about yesterday with the bosses being gone...ended up having to run several towns away to a client to pick up a check because they forgot to tell us before we delivered payroll on Thursday that they had it for us...since it was a big check and needed to be in the bank, I had to be the one to go get it...but on the bright side, it meant I got to leave the office an hour earlier and get reimbursed for the mileage, so spending my last hour working by driving wasn't so bad. ;)

Got my blonde refreshed this morning, found the perfect dress and it was delivered on Thursday and graduation gift should be delivered by Tuesday, so we're all set for next weekend.

Going out in a little while to get a bulb to replace my brake light that went out, and get an industrial sized frozen daiquiri on the way back! :p

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far. :)
    Good afternoon Angel

    Have a nice nap :)
    I did!! It was wonderful!
Then a wedding reception started arriving at the community building next door.
There are cars EVERYWHERE!! Everywhere that there is parking for the building, and lined up and down both sides of our street. In the span of about 3 minutes.
Should have prob gone to the lake tonight...wish I could get a schedule of events for that building.
Oh well, I can sleep in the basement. ;)

That's what those forward and reverse buttons on the remote are for
That's when he's watching something live...and wakes up after it's LONG over with.
He goes in to find when it's playing again and records it.

    Ain't that the truth!!

That's when I generally lose it too. :)
At my dad's service last weekend, I did fine until taps was played (live), and then the 21 gun salute.

Glad you and your mom spent the afternoon together. :)

I'd sleep in them too. :)
Even without the extra 10 pounds I've gained, I wouldn't have ever felt comfortable wearing out what I saw yesterday. Seriously, you could SEE through them. They were opaque black leggings of some sort...
I didn't see them from the front (thank goodness), but just from the back was an eyeful.
Fairly certain you don't have leggings like those. :D

You know, it never ceases to amaze me what some people consider okay to wear out in public...but then if they didn't we wouldn't have all those wonderful "people of Walmart" montages...you know the ones where you need a gallon of eye bleach after seeing them.

OMG! I know...I couldn't believe it when our youngest girl, she's just 25, came to work in really short shorts and a tank top one day:shock:...now we are pretty casual around the office most days, and I wear jeans a few times a week myself, but that was a bit much! She had thought the bosses weren't going to be there, and they were going out of town, but they came by the office first on their way out and she was busted!

We're really casual too. Short, shorty shorts wouldn't fly though.
But I work in the office of an equipment company, even when stuff is cleaned it get dusty right away.
I still look presentable, for an office at an equipment company.

Yeah, I've always tried to dress nice, even when I worked in the office at construction sites and the pipe plant...even when I wear jeans, I wear a nice top...won't even wear a t-shirt...and the girls love to wear flip flops in the office too...I'll wear sandals, but I draw the line at flip flops in the office.

Same here. Nice tops, sandals, but not flip flops.
    T-shirts, but not "t-shirts".
I have some like these, and some similar.

Yeah, but even though they are t-shirts, I don't really lump them in the same category...those are nice looking, it's the ones with stupid sayings and weird stuff that so many like to wear that I wouldn't wear to work.
