Ugh, it is.So my son is really putting our roadside assistance to work this weekend...it started yesterday when I woke up to a text that he had locked his keys in the truck and unfortunately I still had his spare key in my purse. So I told him to call them and have them come unlock it. Then around midnight last night he texted me to say his truck was broke down and he had to leave it about 2 miles from the house. After a lot of back and forth of him describing what happened to the bf, we don't really know what's wrong. He's going to have his dad take him out to it today and see if he can see what's wrong, and if they can't get it started, he's going to have to call roadside assistance again to have them tow it to our mechanic. Ugh! It's always gotta be something.
Sorry he's having issues with it.

Sorry to hear that about the boys truck
It won't start. He was driving it last night and it just stopped while he was driving...he said it felt like it does when you run out of gas, but it had plenty of gas and he even had a friend bring some to put it just in case. He tries to turn over, but just goes rrr, rrr, rrr. Bf is thinking it might be the fuel pump he just had put in a couple of months ago, that it may have been a bad one...if that's the case, he'll come get it and take it back to his guy because it's under warranty, but he wants us to take it to our mechanic first to make sure that's what it is.

Reminds me of how excited my son got when he saw BB on TV when he was little
That kid could spot a BB half way across a store when he was 2 or 3 then he got on a Pokemon kick he still has that collection and he's 21 now

What color is it? just kidding if you turn the key to the on position not start you should hear the fuel pump prime for a few seconds if its working,if not first thing I look at is the ground wire for the pump
It could also be a fuel pump relay or fuse if a fuse is blown there's a reason or he could have got a bum pump another fine Chinese auto part
