Guess I'll be pressing those window treatments (valances) this a.m., if I get them done I may run to the lake and put them up. Anxious to see how they'll look.

What I'm driving now has a BIGGER tank.
I only fill up every two weeks. Loving it!!
So, I'm going to start pressing these window valances, the ones from Overstock dot com.
I know I posted a link, but I can't really promote them. I'm finding that they aren't ALL the same size from the rod to the hem.
Ugh.
Hoping it will work out. I over ordered by 2, hoping I could use them in the basement for the two shorty windows we have. Now, I'm hoping to have enough of the sizes that I can make it work at the 4 patio sized windows.
It's just for the lake, it will be fine, definitely not a show place, nor am I looking to make it one, but darn...is it REALLY too much to ask for continuity??!!
Another reason I've always sewed my own window treatments....too much crappy workmanship out there.

Like you I would assume it has to do with being able to bleach but all his stuff is gray from that and rotten to the core! I've been wearing my own and bringing them home to wash, only had three left so ordered some extra's He can wash his own stuff or hire a cleaning service
Yep, bleaching will eventually eat up cloth, at least anything I've repeatedly bleached.I agree that it looks pretty bad at the end of the day
My mother-in-law told me years ago to use ammonia instead of bleach, would whiten without rotting

Soon as I get these aprons, gloves and DH's t-shirts out of the dryer I'm thinking I'll have an hour or two to chill before the kiddo's arrive
