Good morning Fran, Joey, Sara, Dale, and the sleeping Lurkers.

Fran, will be so happy for you when you finally warm up!!
It's been a long season for you.

Same for you Sara. You get teased with nice temps, then get hurled back into winter.

Dale, I feel for ya. Have made many a pot of hot water.
Now I do it on purpose. Who'dathunk?
    When do the girls arrive??

Guess I'll be pressing those window treatments (valances) this a.m., if I get them done I may run to the lake and put them up. Anxious to see how they'll look. :)
    Good morning Lori

I haven't done it too many times but gezzz!

Busier than I like this morning! Been to town, bought groceries, gas, car wash and one other stop. Home to put away stuff and vacuum. Paid a bill and waiting for more probably today :rolleyes:

    Good morning Lurkers :)

    Practice makes perfect
    Good morning OBG

    :p:p
Possible 80 day for us too.:):rickroll:

Don't let the name fool you. This bird does one thing and one thing only - it finds its prey and stomps it to death with its razor sharp talons. You might not look intimidating at first glance, but once you're in the zone you are absolutely lethal. Get in your zone. o_O

I got some Australian bird that stomps things to death.
    :D :thumbs::thumbs:

    My condolences...........:pervy:

LOL's, I've been buying gas once a month for a long time; now I'll have to schedule in time for that every week

Huh?? You gotta get that soap off the car, unless you have more rain forecast soon. :2c:

So, I'm going to start pressing these window valances, the ones from Overstock dot com.
I know I posted a link, but I can't really promote them. I'm finding that they aren't ALL the same size from the rod to the hem.
    Ugh.
Hoping it will work out. I over ordered by 2, hoping I could use them in the basement for the two shorty windows we have. Now, I'm hoping to have enough of the sizes that I can make it work at the 4 patio sized windows.
It's just for the lake, it will be fine, definitely not a show place, nor am I looking to make it one, but darn...is it REALLY too much to ask for continuity??!!
Another reason I've always sewed my own window treatments....too much crappy workmanship out there.

    Well gee, that's a bummer Lori :(
Maybe why they were so cheap?

I'm sure you'll figure it out and it will be fine :)

I'm just hoping there isn't some reason I'm not allowed to wear a blue apron at work since I ordered four  Everywhere I've worked they've always been white

Not sure how often I'll have to gas up yet, I get pretty good gas mileage from my car but not used to going to town everyday.

Oh, I hope you can wear a color too. I've see maroon or burgundy worn...I'm thinking that anyway.
But, I do see a lot of white. I personally think white is gross....for a butcher's apron...but maybe there's a reason for it (other than you can bleach white), but I don't know.

It wasn't that bad, just left some in crevices and such ;) Was the principal of the thing :p
Oh, I thought it was the whole car....

I agree that it looks pretty bad at the end of the day  Like you I would assume it has to do with being able to bleach but all his stuff is gray from that and rotten to the core! o_O I've been wearing my own and bringing them home to wash, only had three left so ordered some extra's ;) He can wash his own stuff or hire a cleaning service :p

Yep, bleaching will eventually eat up cloth, at least anything I've repeatedly bleached.
