    Last week was the first time in the 69-year life of Clearwater Lake that water rose high enough to use the auxiliary spillway. In just over a week, the spillway has eroded 30 to 50 feet through the ground all the way to bedrock, and it continues to rage like a torrent. It's hard to describe the power of this much water.

    Soon as I get these aprons, gloves and DH's t-shirts out of the dryer I'm thinking I'll have an hour or two to chill before the kiddo's arrive :thumb:

    Hope they can rebuild the spillway.

    I need to adjust my white balance, or something on my phone, it's kinda light...the meat color is a little off.
    This is the first time DH has done a lamb roast.

    My nephew and I were just talking about that this a.m.
    How the teens/young adults prob don't remember a time before cell phones, OR when you had a CORDED phone that kept you tethered near the base.
    I remember one at our house growing up before we moved to the country.
    We had ONE wall phone...the cord was prob 20 feet long. :laugh: :lol:
