Was woken up before 5 with my phone blasting an Amber Alert for a city 150 miles away!...Then the stupid cat starting her caterwauling about 30 minutes before it was time to get up.

Love Soundgarden and Audioslave. They had a tribute to Chris Cornell on on Lithium XM radio station, it was very nice (just happens to be a free preview week for me, I refuse to pay for it when I'm only in the car less than 30 min a day) Another great musician gone way too soon.

Lunchtime flyby...busy morning and will be busy this afternoon too, but at least it makes the day go by quickly...hot and humid out and cloudy, but don't really see any rain on the radar.

Just about the same weather here, and absolutely, cool here in the house.
Need to take Rita out and clean up the kitchen. We had leftover meatloaf and taters, so not much clean up there.

Lol's!! I left 10 minutes early yesterday, got to work at THE SAME TIME I do if I leave 10 minutes later.
The earlier I leave, the more traffic/buses I get behind.
If I time it right, I miss a lot of the heavier traffic (around Scott AF Base), and the heavier traffic when I get closer to the high school, and then where I work.
I got stuck in the AF Base traffic yesterday morning. It wasn't stacked up, it does that sometimes, was just slower getting through/past the base.
