In your nightmares
I absolutely hate all the political garbage being spewed everywhere. I don't post anything political on my FB page, nor do I get into political bantering here at ECF, nor anywhere else. My political views are mine and I dont beat people over the head with them. Only if I find someone of like mind, we'll hold some discussion. I've blocked a few that persist in putting so much junk on my feed. I just really don't like politics or politicians, period. Surely none of them are out for the interests of us, the people. OK, rant over. Back to work.

That is not a rant Paul I have the same view as you do :)

Lol's. :lol::lol::lol:

I agree 100%!!
I've never seen it as bad as it's gotten.

I hope my rant wasn't taken as political. It was meant as a national security topic.
All the networks talk too much about specifics regarding our military, they have for a long time, this latest is nothing new...just kind of higher stakes with the temperature so high over the N. Korea BS. :)

Nope not at all :)

Hear hear! :thumb:

Hear hear!!

Hear hear!!! :thumb:

I'm home :)
Got off a little before noon.
Came home, started a load of laundry and ate some lunch.
Been laying on the sofa with a heating pad on my chest since.

Back to it ;)
Welcome home Dale :)

The media isn't doing this country any favors with all the stuff they print. I'm sure a lot of it can be pretty sensitive stuff! I sure wouldn't want an enemy to know what we're working on. That's absurd!

I often think that other countries don't even need spies anymore, all they have to do is watch TV.

I said something to my BIL who is civil service, he said he watches the news and laughs...he said they have NO CLUE what the military is doing...he said the newscasts are just laughable.
He didn't elaborate (of course), but I thought that was at least comforting. :)

Could be! Throw them off track. It wouldn't take much. Someone from the State Department, the White House or DoD to "leak" stuff to the media that we want the other countries to see or hear and the media, being who they are would certainly blast it all out there.

Forgot to grab quotes along the way

I agree with everything ::waves hands around:: y'all said. I have used the unfollow button MANY times. I keep to myself on facebook, but like to look around to pass the time.

I hope and pray the stuff we see on the news is phony info, because really it's very scary the stuff they mention. Feels like we are an open book (I know we really are not, we can't be, right? ;))

Dale, so glad you got to go home early and I hope relaxing a bit this afternoon will do you wonders.

Apparently it wasn't a dead battery, or faulty sensor like DH thought. There is some sort of communication issue with the alarm and they are coming tomorrow to check things out. Fingers crossed that it's not a costly fix.

Oh my, what a day!...Having Monday off was great, but it's really put me behind...and I couldn't get home at lunch because they had the road between work and home blocked for utility work...yes I could have gone around, but just didn't want to waste the time, so just went out to eat instead...at least I always have my Kindle app on my phone, so I could read a book while I ate...still not caught up at work, and had to put out so many fires I think I should get hazardous duty pay. :p

Was pouring rain when I left work and I got soaked...good thing I didn't have to drive very far in that mess...has been raining for days here and shows nothing but rain for the next week...think I'll start building that ark!

Dale, glad you got off early...hope the extra rest will help knock out that mess.

Ohh Angel, sorry you got soaked and had a crazy day. That's not a good way to spend the day. I think a nice cold beverage and an ark ;) sound like a plan. :)

Got the cold "adult" beverage already...the ark might have to wait a bit. :p:D

    Howdy Sara and Angel :)

Hope your alarm is not expensive to repair Sara :(

Sorry you are in the same boat work wise Angel, I like to know what to expect each day
Well I do know what to expect on Wednesdays and Thursdays as they are dedicated to payroll...however there is always some client who likes to throw a wrench in the works and mess everything up...or want something that they insist can't wait and take away from what I'm supposed to be doing...the rest of the week, I can have a general idea of what I want to get done, but really anything can and usually does happen.

    Dessert time :)
