Good evening Lurkers :wub:

Day felt twice as long as it actually was and it seemed like we didn't accomplish much :unsure: Regardless I am completely wiped out and may just go on to bed :facepalm: My throat, chest, back, sides and everything is soooo terriblely sore from coughing that I practically freeze up when I feel another coughing fit coming :cry:

Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday! :facepalm::facepalm:
:cry: Bless your heart!! (((HUGS)))
Aw Dale, sorry you're feeling so bad...go get some rest, sounds like you need it...hopefully you'll be able to get some good rest this weekend and shake that mess.

I know exactly what you mean about the day seeming long and not seeming to get much done...that was my day in a nutshell...for a short week, this has been the longest short week ever! And yes, I'm still behind. :facepalm:
And you too!!! (((HUGS)))
Well if Dale is going to bed, which one of you fine young ladies is going to get in the kitchen and make me a dessert tonight?
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
:rolleyes: LOL's!!! :lol::lol::lol:

:drool::drool::drool: For reals, I just had s'mores ice cream. Ohhh sooo good. :thumbs:
:thumbs:

You deserve some. ;) but you prolly have no desserts in your house. Cuz you are a good girl.:D

Oh my, that looks amazing! I love anything s'mores. I put creamy pb on my Graham crackers before I add the chocolate and marshmallow. Yum!!
I think there's some ice cream in the freezer, prob a year old. :lol:
We just don't eat desserts. Neither of us have a big sweet tooth for them.
Here and there occasionally, but nope, generally don't have any on hand.

The closest thing I can think of are some choc covered dried cranberries. (Ocean Spray, really good.)

    Well, beggars can't be choosers so I guess I'll have some of everything, even though that fruit thing looks a little too healthy.:p

    I don't know how you knew that I love carrot cake, but that one little piece won't be nearly enough for me.:w00t:

    Lol's.
    I actually like the one OBG liked, and the carrot cake...the fruit pizza would be good too with that honey drizzled on it.
    They all look good, but if they were all on a table, the above mentioned would be what I'd go for. :)

    I try not to have sweets in the house too, but once in awhile I splurge on the ice cream, just a pint, that I may or may not eat in one sitting ;)
    You sound like my sister. She talks about how she's eating SOOOOOO healthy, mostly veggies and salads, very little red meat, blah, blah, blah...which BIL looks at her like she has a 3rd head, and said he didn't know who she'd been eating with. :lol:
    But yeah, she says she has to watch or she'll eat the whole pint in a setting. :laugh: :facepalm:

    DH just tells me not to bring stuff home. If it's not here, we don't think about it.
    His fav "dessert" after cheese cake would be gummy worms. I think he could eat a case of those.

    Heading off for a bit, I'll swing back through later. :)

    Yup, that would be me right about now ;) DH has lost almost 40lbs since his ER visit. I have lost *maybe* 5 :( He is super strict about what he eats whereas I am not. He eats oatmeal for brkfst with berries and I believe out of all the healthy stuff we bought, he sweetens with cinnamon. Lunch is turkey w leafy greens, tomatoes on a Sahara wheat wrap, no cheese or condiments. He takes celery with some yogurt dill dip and I think a side salad with lots of veggies on it, vinaigrette dressing and pistachios. Dinner is whatever but he always eats a salad with it and finishes whatever veggie we have. Snack would be yogurt, or a bag of nuts/trail mix like stuff. Frozen yogurt sometimes or the new Halo ice creams. Puts it in a ramekin.

    I still eat my frozen stuffed hashbrowns for brkfst a couple times a week. I do not like the oatmeal. Sometimes cereal or piece of brkfst casserole. Lately lunch has not been healthy at all, Iced Cappuchino in my car. (Work stress makes me want to leave on lunch and vape in my car the whole time) Dinner does include salads and/or veggies. But if we do tators, I make white for kiddo and I, sweet for DH. I make air popped popcorn but I add the butter flavored seasoning to it, sometime salt. The ice cream on occasion and right now my downfall is jolly ranchers. Eat too many of those and you might as well had a whopper jr from BK. When this bag is gone, no more. I also need to stop getting the frozen coffee, that has A LOT of calories in it. Such a waste. The good news is, I haven't gained any :thumbs:
