Get some Buckley's. :D

(Yes, it really does work. )
Good to know. I've never heard of that. :)

Dale, also...you might end up needing an antibiotic.
My great-nephew ended up with a hole in his lung for letting pneumonia go untreated...they suspect.
He took a round of antibiotics, and they suspect it didn't kill it all off and most likely needed another round.
Not preaching, just saying, please go to a Dr. or medstop type place if you need to.
All that crap takes a week or so to clear out, sometimes hangs on two weeks or longer.
DH says he still has copious amounts of phlegm he's coughing up, but if your's is unproductive, just be careful. :2c:
Don't want to see you end up in the hospital. :nun:

    Thanks Lori :)
I am aware of what it could turn into ... matter of fact, I just made up some Oil of Oregano capsules and started that today. Mother nature's antibiotic ;)
Wish I had thought of it last week

It's only been one week even though it feels like a month

When I was deathly sick with the flu/upper respiratory/H1N1, back in 2010, I made Sage, Thyme & Ginger Tea, with lemon & honey.
I firmly believe there's something to the mixture.
I think I did a heaping tsp of each, maybe tablespoon, need to find the recipe I used, but I put that in a tea ball, steeped in a big mug. Then added a little honey, and a pinch of ginger from my spice cupboard.
Everything came from my spice cupboard.

I'll try to find the recipe I used, I have it bookmarked somewhere.
    Found this quickly....

    Herbal Remedies for Respiratory Symptoms
Thyme and Sage tea are lung strengtheners and treat respiratory tract problems. You can use both thyme and sage alone or they can be used together
Thyme and/or sage steam inhalation, teas or honey.

When I was a kid and soooooo sick before I had my tonsils removed, my mom would saute onions (every night), put them in a pillowcase and put that on my chest. IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOO gross, but again, I think it may have helped.
Course, that would have been 1970, or 1971.

Well I like sauted onions but  For chest application I think I'll stick with Vicks Vapor Rub

    No kidding!!
I hated it, and would cry the whole time, from the time I'd smell the onions cooking.

    Good afternoon lovely lurkers.

Guess you can add me to the didn't sleep well club...kept waking up with acid reflux and my shoulder was killing me too so couldn't get comfortable no matter what I did. :glare:

Looks like our rain should be starting here any minute...perfect for snuggling up with a good book.

Dale, sorry you're still dealing with that crud...hope you can enough rest this weekend and wipe it out...more healing vibes for you.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

    Oh no, you too! :(
Do you sleep on the L or the R side. Left side sleeping is better (I've read) if you suffer from acid reflux. :)
