Oh wow! Not here, the bottom FELL OUT while I was in the store, completely white out driving conditions all the way home ... never slacked off a bit until I drug the last sack in from the carJust drizzling and dripping now
Had to strip off all my clothes and get into something dry
Just took a dose of mother's Apple Cider Vinegar on advice of another ECF member ... OH ACHCCCAKKKK!!
Not sure my stomach will ever be the same again!
I hope you are done too. Poor thing, you definitely didn't need the soaking rain while being sick.

The power went out while we were at Walmart. Never been in a store and had that happen, was eerie. So we get home and discover that it wasn't just WW. Ours went out also. I have chicken breasts in the crockpot which turned off.
I turned it back on and I would say it was prolly a good 35-40 minutes that it was off. The chicken will be ok, right? I didn't open the lid or anything.

Sara, I've been in WM when the power has gone out like that a few times...it is weird when it happens...ours has generators that put on just minimal lighting but it's still pretty dark if you're in the back of the store...Oh and your chicken will be fine.
Watching a Monk marathon here...I love that show...all the rain we were supposed to get seems to have gone elsewhere...there is a huge line of storms way over near Texas, but looks like they won't get here for quite a while and are predicted to break up some before then...just hope it stays away when I head home tonight.

I figured it would be ok, but it was another first for me. Internet said as long as the power wasn't out for 2hrs. That seems like a long time to me. Donuts are always a good thing.

Off to finish making dinner for everyone. Shredded chicken, roasted sweet tators and a medley of summer veggies. Had I known it wouldn't rain the whole day like they forecasted, we could have grilled out.
Maybe in two weeks.

It was good.We were going to do cheeseburgers on the grill and DH forgot to get the buns.
Oh well, tuna pasta is easy peasy, no complaint from me.
