Well I need to do both cooking and running back to town myself.
Cooking just has to happen and I forgot to get some Poweraid yesterday and I want some as I'm tired of water and feeling run down all the time.
Ugh, on two trips.
Does Poweraid help?

Good morning Dale,Joey,Fran,Sara,Bobbi & Lori :)

It will give you a boost if you sweat a bunch cause it has vit B and electrolytes in it,real electrolytes and Vit B work better in hot weather but they don't taste as good :)

    POWERADE ZERO MIXED BERRY
Zero calorie sports drink Mixed Berry flavored + other natural flavors
POWERADE ZERO is the great-tasting electrolyte-enhanced sports drink with zero calories. Formulated with the ION4 Advanced Electrolyte System, POWERADE ZERO helps replenish four key electrolytes lost in sweat: Sodium, Potassium, Calcium and Magnesium. It also contains vitamins B3, B6 and B12 to help the body metabolize energy from food. POWERADE ZERO comes in six flavors: Mixed Berry, Fruit Punch, Lemon-Lime, Orange, Strawberry and Grape.

I'm one of those in the small % of people who barely sweat. My dad was the same way.
It has to be extremely hot before I even break a sweat...barring hormones. ;)
I *do* think my Vit B's (in general) could use a boost though, and ANYTHING that keeps biting bugs away.

DH gets them, I've never tried them though.

I'll add that to my list for today. Thanks!!

Also I'll add that Gatorade is all salt and sugar,it might taste good but it doesn't help your body deal with the heat as well :2c:
I've never cared for those, that's why I've never tried the Powerade.

Sweating is how your bod cools it's self by evaporative cooling so if you don't sweat you need to be more careful in the heat, heat stroke is no fun been close a few times myself ;)

Yep. Trust me, it would be a situation where I was STRANDED in the heat.
I don't get outside (working) when it's blistering hot.
...I realize that's prob shocking news. :D

This is the best stuff I've found,it's always easy to tell when an employer gives a crap about their guys because this is what they buy :D

Oh, I'll pass that along. I know they have stuff for the mechanics when it gets really hot.
    I think it's Gatorade though.

So, I forget now when it is, DH told me and it already fell out of my head.
But he's going to be going to Washington, DC for a JD thing.
It's for Sports Turf, he's taking a customer with him, and they get to go "behind the scenes" with the ground maintenance crew at The National Mall! They're also going to a Washington Natiional's ball game, tour of their maintenance facility and a speaking event there, as well as the Maryland Soccerplex stadium. Same deal, tour and speaking event.
