Dinner was great...now I'm stuffed!

Looks like more rain heading this way...just hoping it holds off for a bit.

Dale, hope it was just something that irritated you as you slept and that it goes away.
Fingers crossed for ya. ;)

Desserts!

Oh, #3 :D Thanks!!!

We had a mini monsoon for about 20 minutes here.
High wind and lots of lightning.
It looked like a deluge on the radar. :(

Oh yeah :?: I've been meaning to ask you guys ... has anyone ever discovered what The number one worst carb is for people 50 and over?

I'm guessing bread or banana's
Sugar?? I cheated, I Googled.
My Dr. said that as long as you get whole grains, there's no nutritional reason to eat white bread, or white pasta.
So, I know (for me) I could (insert rolleyes) cross those off...as if.
Bananas are a high sugar fruit.

Why are you asking??

    Curious mostly :?:
And I just found out peanut butter crackers are horrible for you  So I switched to carrying banana's to work  I need something quick and simple for lunch that won't spoil.

It's my understanding that not all carbs are created equally, or bad for you.
For instance, sweet potatoes (not covered in brown sugar ;) ) are a very healthy choice...for most anyway.

I'd have to revisit my sources, but there are healthy carbs, and unhealthy, or empty carbs.
I'm no carb expert though, and off the top of my head, that's about all I remember.

You might need to get, (or use if you already have one)... a little cooler and some ice packs, if you have no access to a refrigerator.
Why is peanut butter bad?? What about sunflower butter? It's more expensive, but the Organic Sun Butter brand of sunflower butter is REALLY good, and it's only sunflowers. No added sugar. :)
It's not cheap, so if you price it, don't have a stroke.

Oh we have a refrigerator ... I'm scared of it

I'm not sure about the peanut butter crackers, that's just what I read  I forget

OOooo! @classwife has some Sunflower butter she's afraid to try, she can send it to me and I'll try it! :w00t: :lol::lol:
Course you've got to put it on something ... like BREAD

Last week I had natural peanut butter on the grocery list.
DH got sunbutter. Took me a few days to try it.
Frist, it's a bit runny, had to get a knife and really stir up the container.
    Secondly...omg - it's NASTY !!!!!!!!
