You could make your own trail mix, Dale. Omit the unhealthy sweets from it. DH makes it for kiddo, he uses unsalted nuts, raisins, craisins (not sure if those are high in sugar), sunflower seeds, and a *few* dark chocolate chips. Pack it into little reusable container that would fit into your purse/bag or a ziplock.

Mine was great,got my cleaning done had a big breakfast then a long nap and after that the kids took me out for Mexican then showered me with gifts,I even got a pineapple upside down cake
