    Good evening lurkers

Angel, hope your evening wasn't too bad. Free food is always a good thing ;)

Peeping Joey, how's it going? How's your shoulder and elbow?

Any chance you could work a half day, Dale? That is if you decide to work at all. I'm guessing there is prolly no employee discount either. ;)

We are closed on Tuesday. Hoping everyone is traveling for the holiday weekend and it's quiet on Monday. Tomorrow will prolly be crazy. Missed kiddo's first Lacrosse goal tonight. Pretty bummed out.
Awww! Sorry you missed your son's first goal :( Bummer!

I can probably work however long or short I want but there's no point in going in if I'm not going to finish anything ;) Plus clean up is just as involved whether short or long.

Have no idea if he would give me a deal on meat :?: Haven't asked.

DH didnt even get a pic  Grr!! Kiddo said he scored for me because I wasn't there. Lolz! These poor kids, they are getting whomped on. Tuesday they lost 9-3, today 15-6. But it's their first time playing in the league.

I don't know that I would want to ask him lol.

He's definitely a good kid. I'm hoping next year he chooses soccer, still a little leery of lacrosse.

Awww, well if you do go, hopefully it won't be too bad.

Turns out I could have used that ark to deliver payroll today...it has been raining, and not that light stuff, but deluges, all day and when I left for payroll, no one was going faster than 30 mph on the interstate...you couldn't go any faster because you couldn't see more than a couple feet in front of you...I was going to come home before going to the ceremony to change, since I was in jeans and sneakers, but it was raining so horribly, I opted to just go straight there...good thing I did, because it turned out the main road outside my neighborhood was flooded and I wouldn't have been able to get through.

Thought I got a good parking spot there, which I did, but I waited for the rain to let up and when it did I was in such a rush to get out and get inside the building before it started again, that I didn't look at the ground outside my car...turns out the parking area was covered in over 6 inches of water and I stepped right into it...so I had one soaked foot and decided to take off my shoes and socks so I could get out and run inside...what a sight I was holding my shoes and pants legs hiked up and all these other people dressed in nice clothes...by this time I didn't give a rat's behind though. :sneaky:

The ceremony was actually very nice though and I'm glad I went...I got to see lots of people I used to work with and who I haven't seen in years, so that was nice...didn't finish up until 7:30 there and by that time, I had no desire for the free food, so I hightailed it out of there and came home...glad I did, because it opened up again right after I got in the car to leave...safely tucked away at home now, but no rest...laundry to do, things to get ready for the weekend...hopefully I'll get to be by midnight.:?:

    Sweet dreams all.

She might but I bet there will be some kind of penalty

Enjoy your evening Lori  Night :)
Well, and I suppose that's the way it should be in a civilized society.
Guess there would be havoc in the streets if everyone battled it out like that.
She actually could have killed him, and what, over the contents of a purse. :(
It just gets me going that people think it's okay to steal from others, that's all.

Lolz! Don't do that now. :)

Sweet dreams Dale and lurkers. My pillow is singing me a lullaby
Sweet dreams Sara. Sorry you missed his goal.

Good night lovely and handsome Lurkers

Good morning Fran and lurkers

Angel, wow!! I'm sorry you had to deal with all that rain/flooding yesterday. Glad you got to catch up with old friends.

It's a messy one out there today. Yuck! Windy to boot. It woke me up this morning hitting the window. Warm one though.
