Hiya Fran, how are things in the NE?


I was just reading on FB about Crusoe The Celebrity Dachshund. Guess he had to have (his first) two teeth pulled....gotta love a small breed. Was looking through the comments at all the "been there, done that" stories, and the pics of all the old doxies and various pups. Lots of old ones out there still chugging along.

Welp, I'm off to go eat and get ready for work.

I dont know but I may have to go for another surgery to fix the other tear first. The therapist is giving me a hard time about building the strength back in the shoulder.

Good morning lurkers Thought I'd check in before I shower and go to bed. You stay safe in all that nasty weather today!
Dale, I've had pretty good luck with that blue emu lotion. It is amazing how much it helps with the sore hands.
I have 12 more days to get the rest of the pics and documents scanned. No idea how many more there are but am sure it is well over a thousand... On a good day I can identify, decipher, scan and label 200 pics or so, then nap for a few hours and upload those during the free period for our provider. Some place in the middle, I get online and answer the questions about who is this and how are we related again, how old/where was I when this pic was taken, etc. Then there is the, "you spelled this name wrong" or the "are you sure this is so and so?". I am to the point now I stopped being polite and tell them that is what the pic had on the back, that's all I can go on... I've only been in this family for 40 some years, I never even met your great great whoever! Bruce is very helpful until he forgets and starts reminiscing over the pics and telling me stories about them... Oh well, this to shall pass and I am looking forward to lucky Friday the 13th!!! Ok, rant over! I'm off to shower and sleep!

Never heard of Blue Emu Lotion ... will look for it

Walmart, the drug stores, pretty much any where you go will have it. It is almost $20 for a tube but only takes a tiny bit and doesn't leave a nasty smell or anything. To me it is well worth the relief it gives! Really, it only takes a very little bit so if you get it don't start with too much... like I did the first time!

Dale, hope the swelling goes down for you...sounds like maybe you do need to go ahead and take the 4th off so you can give them a rest for a bit.

So glad it's Friday, and a short day too...although no rest for me this weekend, with having the Princess and all.
