Good morning Joey:wub:...staying out of trouble? :p

Hiya Sara....Sorry you're having a nuts kind of day...should I send my squirrels to help out...they love nuts.

The only reason I considered Walmart was because it was 8:00 and there was hardly anyone there...probably should have gone ahead and gone, but think I'll just wait until tonight...it's not as bad then either.

Okay, so from Dictionary.com here's what they have to say about the zoo thing...

it's a zoo
Also, what a zoo. This is a place or situation of confusion and/or disorder. For example, Mary's got all these house guests with children and pets—it's a zoo, or We're in the midst of moving our office and files are all over the place—what a zoo! [ ; late 1800s ]

Bwahaha we sure coulda used your squirrels. ;) I've always used this expression. But then I stop and think, I've never seen an actual zoo that was crazy and chaotic. Thank you for looking into that. :w00t:

  Same thing I'd have done too!!

Sorry you're having a crappy day. :(
Hopefully the rest will fly. :)

Good day here so far. Only about half of us are working today, the other half took off...as long as your dept. had coverage, it was up to you to work or not. ;)

Sales dept. bought pizza. I ate too much.

It definitely flew by. :) glad you had a good day!! Oh yum, pizza. Very nice of the Sale Dept.

Glad your day is over Sara and that the nuts were kept at bay. ;)

Decided I'm going to Wally World tonight...I really need a few things and it's been weeks since I've actually gone...besides, I've been totally useless today, so I might as well do something productive.

How cute is he?

Simply unbearable.

While we're at it, say hello to our new addition, Max.

I'm home, have been watching the local parade. It's going through on the next street over.

Dinner started, cheeseburgers and baked beans.

I had a salad and some sloppy joe meat ;)
    Tired and hurtin'.

    Good night Lori
Enjoy those fireworks and be careful ... our town lost four condos this weekend due to fireworks. Thank goodness no one was hurt.

    Does, doesn't it?

    Curious it is.

    He's 100% pit bull.

    Great family dogs, IME.

I figure he's a rescue considering he was purchased at a fire sale from the Wally World parking lot from what looks to be a family typical of one looking specifically for pit bulls.

To be fair, they obviously already had a breeding pair.

8 in the litter. He's the largest.

At least this one will be in a loving home for life.

He's made a new friend against her better judgement and after some serious hair raising and hissing.

    Katy Kat...

Reportedly has been noticed sharing precious realty on mom's lap in a cuddling fashion after some curious investigating during Max's nap time.

Looks like after all the fuss, they're going to get along just fine.

Well it was not in and out...and I spent way, way too much...that's what I get for not going for several weeks...and they only had 5 dang cashiers open so the lines were backed up into the clothing aisles...I hate when they do that! :glare:

I didn't even get home until 8:30 and by then I was so frustrated that I didn't even want dinner...oh well, having my adult beverage now and sitting back and cooling off...sweet dreams lovely lurkers.

They probably didn't have much of a choice. We had only 4 cashiers today after a good chunk of them called in. Don't know what some of these idiotic kids think, but there were 4 firings last week because they thought they could call in whenever they wanted to without consequences. I expect there will be a few more very shortly.

So yeah, it was a bloody zoo, with a good chunk of the managers having to step in and be a cashier during peak madness times. Thankfully, I was out of there at 7, before it got really crazy. I'm sure it's an absolute zoo in there right now.

I used to work at my Walmart here many, many years ago...we were always understaffed way back then and it's still pretty much the same...I do understand about the kids that work there these days though...or anywhere for that matter...they just don't have any kind of work ethic at all.
