Sunday Morning coffee
Good morning KC, and thank you!!
You've outdone yourself this a.m.!!

Good morning, and thank you Dale!!!
We're all thinking and praying for Texas
Yes, that's for sure!!!!!
I'm in the middle of baking a big batch of Neiman Marcus cookies, guess what's for breakfast here
Good morning OBG.
No, there was a mess with the links. I fixed it.
Good morning R1.

So, I mentioned that DH went to Gateway Race Track last night to watch the Indy race.
As the beginning/opening events were starting, one of the BIG transport planes from SAF flew over....low.

Someone walking ahead of him said, "that's nothing special, they fly over my house like that everyday".

Oh wow!!!

I've seen that recipe, and *somewhere* I have it printed out, but I've never made it.
I might have to try that after we get back from vacation.

Mya is still asleep as are her 4 furry siblings and DH. I am trying not to wake any of them! Quiet moments with my morning coffee are rare!
She seems to be sleeping well and her breathing does not appear to be labored. Fingers crossed for a good day for her. She did eat last night which was a good sign. Maybe due to the prednisone.
Good morning Chili.

That sounds like good news for Mya. Especially that she ate last night!!!!!
Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Hoping that the treatments will be successful!!!
Good morning, everyone! I'm so sick of rain!! 15 inches so far and another 9 projected for today. At least the high winds seem to have subsided. I'm going stir crazy having to stay inside the house all day and night. This storm doesn't want to move away. I'm just so glad I don't live near a river or bayou! Gads, I've never been is so much rain before. But we still have power and internet!

.
Yes, the folks out Houston way are continuously getting hit with the outer bands bringing torrential rainfall. Plus, the drainage in Houston gets completely backed up as the bayous that it drains into are over the banks. Nowhere for the water to go. There are people over there with water entering the second floor of their homes.
Paul, glad for the check in! Sounds like you're holding your own there!!!

I can't even wrap my brain around that much rain!!
Hallelujah that you still have power and internet!!!

How did your pool do??
The flooding and damage is just so very sad.

Keeping all of Texas in prayer!!
Welp, I couldn't get on ECF earlier. I don't know what the deal is sometimes with Google Chrome.
I could get the page to load, but the top part of the page that has the different links to "watched
threads", etc. didn't want to load. Then, when it did, I'd click it and it would take an eternity to change pages.
I finally gave up.
Then I remembered that last time I tried Mozilla and it worked great, so I did that, and HERE I AM!!

No issue...so far, but I haven't tried to post this mega yet.

Here goes nothing....
