Good morning KC and Sara

So .... Bela wants to know if there is anything to eat. Sure there is ... what do you want? Cereal? No. Pop tart? No. Toast and syrup ? No. Granola bar? No. Steak? Yeah   So she’s having a ribeye with bbq sauce

Update... there’s fat on it, I don’t want it :facepalm:
Sounds like she’s being raised right ;)

 Did you say you have pop tarts

Yum! I haven’t had a pop tart in forever. I’d choose that.

Pop tarts? Always, strawberry without frosting ;) for me, blueberry for him.
Whaaaaaa?? You gotta have them frosted. Strawberry is my favorite. S’mores coming in 2nd.

Two pots of sauce simmering on the stove. Mmm  New vegetarian recipe. Not sure how it will be.

Nope nope, neither one of us wants frosting ;)

Good luck with your sauce :)

Took Bela to OSaka for lunch at the hibachi grill, a first for her.

Bwahahah don’t forget I’m not a huge meat fan. I’m with Christina....all fat must be cut off before I will touch it. (Used to only eat the middle of any cut of meat) However, I do realize fat is needed for flavor. I just have a hard time getting past the fat. DH wanted to have pasta w sauce and veggies this week for dinner. So I found a vegetarian sauce recipe. Smells sooo good Joey. I think you’d approve.

Oh my gosh. Did she love the hibachi?? Thanks, Dale. The house smells awesome. Will let you know how it turns out. ;) I have tasted here and there and it gets my 2 thumbs up.

If you like it then it’s a winner

    Good evening all.
Didn't make it back last night. Was pooped and just didn't get on.
Was productive until about noon, tried to nap...epic fail!
Have a good bit of laundry knocked out, and stitched awhile this afternoon...going to work more in "the room" tomorrow, back to shredding and whatever else I can get motivated to do. *sigh*
Want to go through all my craft stuff, weed out the things I prob won't use and re-organize.

Would like to actually go through the entire house and weed out stuff...pare down. ;)
So that's my plan for fall and winter. Course, I say this every year, THIS is the year that I want to make it happen.

Other than that, not a lot to report here from Boringville...thank the Lord above!!
The older I get, I rather like quiet and uneventful.

Sara, I'm sure your sauce will be wonderful!

Dale, your lunch out sounded wonderful!!!

Joey, I didn't cut meat very well until I was in my teens. Just was clumsy I suppose.

...no complaints if my meat has fat. I don't eat big chunks of it, but yep, I want that flavor, and a burnt(ish), crusty piece of fat on a steak... Oh yes, pass that on ova to me!!

I was totally saying this earlier..time to get RID of stuff. I’m tired of it. Donate or toss it. I’m with you, Lori!! This is our year to pare down.

Sauce is still debatable. :) what we will use this week is in the fridge and the rest in the freezer. Jury is still out.

After throwing a temper tantrum (about the damn peeler) kiddo retreated to his room . DH and I finished dinner. Course the green beans were burned o_O because I was upstairs switching loads of laundry but ehhh, Rome wasn’t built in a day
    Mashed tators were still good.
