Yay Joey!! So glad your days off are together.

Well.......we had macaroni and sauce for dinner. Was a little sweeter than I like normally but otherwise not bad. There is some room for tweaking. Any tips for lessening the sweetness after the fact?

Sauce once made the only thing I can think of is add a can of crushed tomatoes and nothing else.

Awww Dale, not trying to rain on your parade. Just worried for you.

Whelp, I was dumb and scalded my mouth while simmering. Was worried it would be bitter and added too much sugar to cut the acidity. At that point forgetting about sampling it. My poor tongue is still recovering.

Haha, I usually use a can of Hunts and doctor it up, Lori. This was my first time in a long time of making from scratch. Glad your long day went quickly.

Thanks Joey, I figured I will keep making sauce on the weekends and add a freezer container every time until it’s gone.
