    I had let our deep freeze get low, we’ve been eating out of it since I quit working so we needed to restock ;)

    How’s everyone doing?

    Spent a good part of the day prepping all our fresh produce for the freezer. I don’t want to lose any of it and who knows when we will be able to get out for more. Another loaf of banana bread in the oven.

    60 degrees, windows are open. I can hear the frogs. :)

    I’m okay, DH is gone camping for the weekend so it’s just me and Elly. She’s still waiting for him to come home poor thing, she’ll do it all night :(

    Cooler here today after being overly warm yesterday, I dressed in shorts and a short sleeve shirt not knowing the high today was 58 :laugh: Walked quickly to check the mail :lol:

    Cooler here today after being overly warm yesterday, I dressed in shorts and a short sleeve shirt not knowing the high today was 58 :laugh: Walked quickly to check the mail :lol:
    Ohhh poor Elly. You’ll both be glad when he gets home, I’m sure.

    Hahah 58 is shorts weather to me ;) well only when you’re used to 30. Lololol.

    All quart sized...2 bags of bananas, 5 bags of strawberries, 2 bags of black berries, a mix of peppers and onions and a bag of scraps from veggies saved to make veggie broth. Who knew you could make broth out of the parts of veggies you don’t eat?

    Also we started some seeds today: thyme, basil and chives. Weird combo but DH picked them up at the store this past fall and they’ve been sitting in the pantry. I figured a quick science lesson for kiddo, if they don’t grow, oh well. If they do, yum on the basil and chives. Don’t know if I really like thyme.

    I’m starting to get stir crazy, even with cleaning and going for walks, keeping in touch with friends on fb. Chain vaping like mad. Thank goodness I’m down to like maybe 3mg. The tape line on my bottles is 18mg and I’m basically putting in a splash and then filling up with the vg and a teeny bit of distilled water to thin it out some. Really need to figure it out and put some new marks on the bottle

    Oh I guess it would be pretty comfortable for you guys , not quite swimming weather though ;)

    Never thought about keeping vegetable scraps for broth, I didn’t used to ever use broth but now days I do.

    Bela and I planted some flower seeds embedded in paper leaves; I didn’t think they’d come up because they were several years old but we’ve got several up. Look forward to seeing what they are someday :laugh:

    Guess things are pretty normal for me, I normally spend a lot of time at home except for groceries shopping, I do hate that I can’t go to the library :( They’re closed.

    BRRR 58 is no where near shorts weather to me.
