Good morning Dale, Fran and lurkers

After reading many posts on FB/news articles and the comments that follow, racism will never go away, IMO. We will still be witnessing this to some extent next year, in 5 years, 20 years..... destroying communities and beating up police is only strengthening the hate and a good percentage of that is being done by white people. But who gets the blame?

Paul, glad your daughter is home and I’m real sorry about your taxes. That stinks.

Got a pork roast in the crockpot. Will have mashed tates and a veggie to go with. Smells yummy already.

Hope you all have a good day.

    You’re probably right:(

Yum!!! Cornbread would definitely complete that meal and you can always send some my way ;) lol
It’d be pretty stale by the time you got it  Yep I’ll be having pinto beans and cornbread tonight and DH will eat it tomorrow in his veg/beef soup :) I don’t put it in my soup

    good morning Dale

Sorry you weren’t feeling well. Feeling better after a good nights rest? :nun:

We had quite the light show last night. Looked like a strobe light and the thunder sounded like a freight train. Both were continuous. It was weird but beautiful.
    Good morning Sara

    I wasn’t but I am now :)

Love those kind of storms as long as they’re not damaging.

Glad you’re feeling better. I agree. Been awhile since we had a decent thunderstorm. No damage around here but there was some flooding and trees down closer to the city. Saw pictures of hail about the size of grapes.

We had hail just a week or so o_O Not that large though thank goodness.

Had a nice hard rain with a little lightening, dropped the temps a little bit :thumb:
