My body already feels 60

I felt good at 60. Now at 72 I have a bad knee.

Yeah but if that’s all that’s wrong with you then you’re pretty darn healthy!

My best friend was here, was so great to visit with her!

Lol I have an old sports injury that is a pita. Nothing I do makes it feel better when it’s cold or rainy. Plus it hurts to get out of bed, get off my chair at work, stay on my feet all day long. I’m used to it at this point but dang does it make me feel old.

Sorry you have a bad knee, Fran.

Dale, so glad you got time spend some time with your bestie. These days it’s extremely necessary.

We spent a good portion of the day canning pickles and salsa. Making parmesan crusted pork chops for dinner with mashed tates and grilled veggies. Watched the boys swim for awhile. Too cold for me. Barely reached 80, sun was hiding and the pool temp was only 80. Hahaha.

I made pasta alla Norma (pasta with eggplant) everyone loved!!

Eggplant bacon....never make again I wouldn’t eat it with breakfast. And today I made a turkey “club” not my fave.

The fruit of our day of canning. Well some of it. Lol

General consensus is to not make eggplant “bacon” again. In my defense, you never know until you’ve tried it, right??

Yeah, not a good bacon replacement.

Ohhhhhh so jealous of your Olive Garden. Mmmm. Love their Alfredo and breadsticks. Salad is yum yum too.

Broken leg/sprained ankle sliding into second base in high school definitely have arthritis and ankle swells in the heat. But I can feel it in the rest of my body as well? Weird.

I agree that maybe it just was supposed to look like bacon. Lol It sorta had the saltiness but....Ehh we tried it.

I have wanted to try it for awhile now. The eggplants we are growing are small ones so one lost, no biggie

For us, softball was Spring, I remember the date too. 5/3 so not a nice summer. Cast went from my toes to my knee. I also applied for my first part time job the day my cast came off. Hello hairy leg lololol. But I got the job.

I am ok it is just the cat and I here until friday. The girls had a vacation planned before Sue passed that they spent money on so I told them to go have a good time. Their mom would have wanted them to go.

Yup, Dale. As long as it keeps me off the stinkies, I’m happy. I’m guessing about 5-6 years now. Bad memory.....another con to getting old I guess
