50 here today not many decent days left. Saturday I go back to work hopefully, we all need a break from being locked up for 2 weeks!!! Covid cases have been going up in Illinois and Wisconsin for awhile now.
Sara cube steaks make great sandwiches![]()
Pretty much like a burger, we use Montreal steak seasoning and some kind of cheese whatever we have in the fridge. You can also do like a salsbury steak, Sue would just use brown gravy. Plus whatever side she felt like making.Good morning Joey

Sorry your numbers are going back up too. I don’t understand why so many don’t want help to minimize the spread. We all gave up so much in the beginning to be or almost be back to square 1. I gave up on the news.

Swiss steak is good too, season and bread the steaks, brown in skillet then pour canned tomatoes over it all and simmer till tender.Good morning Joey

We had chicken thighs, bbq beans and bisquik biscuits tonight.
We had chinese food tonight to give Dannielle a break from cookingIt was ok. Can’t say cube steaks will be added to my grocery list anytime soon. There was something about it I definitely did not like and I think it was the thyme. The meat itself was just ok. It was food.
We had mashed tates and garlic bread with it. Yum, Dale. Chicken, beans and biscuits.
I think the sauce would be much better next time without the thyme and my mushrooms rehydrated beautifully. (I have a jar of them that I dehydrated)

Sara I have never used thyme before so I can't help with that. I mostly use Montreal steak seasoning or just salt and pepper and garlic![]()
Will have to keep an eye out for that one next trip to the store. I thought I’d remembered it wasn’t a prime piece. Dh had picked up a couple of packages when he went to the butcher this last time. It’s all good, tried something new and I would definitely use the sauce again maybe on a different cut of beef.Sorry it didn’t turn out so good Sara. Most cube steaks are made from scraps so it’s not really a good piece of meat to start with.
