Back at work today, found out last night co workers kid tested positive and she’s being tested today. Doubtful our employer deep cleaned last night. Fingers crossed. I armed with pretty much everything but a hazmat suit. I should maybe think about getting one

If the covid doesn’t get me the side walk will walking back into work from lunch and bit the sidewalk.

We’ve pretty much been under a freezing rain advisory all day. Parking lot wasn’t too bad and as I stepped from the lot to the curb/edge of the sidewalk I slipped, went forwards and of course braced myself. Can’t wait to see how sore I am tomorrow.

she's only 11 (and a half...as she likes to point out)

Ahh yeah, 11....and a half, just a wee bit young. But it’s adorable she has a crush.

Just do like I do for those young crushes. Kiddo has a crush on a classmate. She had a play date with a few kids from her class before this pandemic mess started and the crush was one of those invited. Caught him looking my way about half way through and I lifted my shirt, revealing my carry. His eyes got as big as saucers. Been the perfect gentleman since then.

Beef stew that DH canned this past fall and fresh bread out of the bread maker for dinner. It was pretty good. Best part, I didn’t have to do anything

It didn’t turn out well, I made some changes and it wasn’t good Ground beef is much better than stew meat if you want to know

That reminds me of when I pulled out the stew meat thinking it was ground beef. Can’t recall what we ended up doing with the stew meat.

You sure were tired! Glad you got a full nights sleep.

DH stopped by the abattoir the other day, she said, “you saved me a phone call” lol our beef will be ready within the next two weeks and he was able to up the amount to 1/2 a cow.

I knew what the meat was just not how terrible it would be as goulash

Yeah I’ve been tired lately and not feeling well.

‘That’s wonderful about your beef, 1/4 doesn’t really amount to much except for ground beef.

Sorry you haven’t been feeling well. Hopefully just a case of winter-itis. I’m definitely feeling *that* and we still have another 2ish months.

Yeah, we are trying to think ahead in case of increase of price or shortages/limits in the next few months. We should be set on beef, now we have to look at pork/chicken.
