Good morning Sara

‘Going to Jack’s shop this morning to look at some ribeye, hopefully get a nice one. Then I have a dental cleaning at 11. Naturally instead of yesterday’s sunshine it’s dark and cloudy today
Good morning Dale

Sounds like we swapped weather. ;) It’s gorgeous today. Would be an amazing lunch except the carpenter bees keep bothering me lolol. Already moved my car once o_O

Hope you find a good one and that you’re cleaning goes well.

    Good afternoon Sara :)
I got a good one! 17 pounds, got 20 steaks and a couple pounds of stew meat out of it:thumb:

    Cleaning went well as usual.

What are the carpenter bees doing?

Yep, it’s warm and muggy today, possible thunderstorms tomorrow.

Omgosh!!!! That is such a sweet pic. She looks so snuggly. He’s gonna be hurtin’ when she gets a handful lol

    Nice haul, Dale

They come out around this time and like to hover in the walkway from the street to the parking lot. I had forgotten about them and only remembered when I came face to face with one  Apparently I wasn’t parked far enough away from the sidewalk because they decided to buzz around my car. Was afraid they’d fly in the windows. So I moved from that lot to the smaller lot across the street and I swear they followed me  I ended up turning my car on and letting the ac run because it was too warm to sit in the car with the windows rolled up.

Sorry you ladies are suffering too. Think my contacts protect my eyes a bit but my throat and sinuses are angry.

We sure had some weird weather today. Cooler this morning (normal this time of year), warmed up for first break, brrrr cold at lunch, warmed slightly and raining for my 3pm break and was the warmest of the day when I left. We were under a low threat of severe weather but the storms seemed to go to the north and south of us.

A church around the corner was doing a pasta dinner fundraiser, so DH picked some up! Yay!! I didn't have to cook

so like I was craving tacos...well apparently "someone heard me":wub:
was donated 2 big bags of chicken taco meat filling
got one of the bags in a 9x13 pan (filled to the brim) in the oven now
don't have any taco shells though meh...but I do have tortilla chips if I really need that crispy crunch I could add them into the tortilla wraps
I usually have tortillas on hand, I prefer unleavened flat breads
sandwich bread will usually sit around for a while but tortillas I can't keep in stock  my eldest is the same way my youngest not so much

Nice, Shad!! :thumb: We prefer the tortillas probably because they are so versatile.

I’m whooped and tomorrow is going to be one of “those” kinds of days.

    Sweet dreams, ladies
Aw I hope it’s a better day than you expect, good night Sara
