Good morning lurkers

Dale, hope the trial works out. Sorry they are so expensive. They shouldn’t be, but I won’t get started on that.

Uh oh, Rat2. You mowed the *whole* yard??:laugh: Hopefully your dad forgot he was going to today lol

The graduation ceremony was so sweet. Thankfully I was able to manage my tears and not flood the auditorium  Even got kiddo to cooperate, stopping at the middle school to get his picture by the school sign (it’s a tradition) Had to bribe with ice cream but that’s ok.

Happy Friday!! Looking forward to the weekend

    Good evening Dale

We took kiddo to dinner to celebrate. We had some storms roll through last night. Glad your satellite came back.

I’m whooped, overload of carbs doesn’t help ;)

Early to bed for me
    Hi Sara
Nice to have a reason to celebrate :thumb:
Hopefully you’ll take time to rest this weekend and your weather will allow for the pool ;)

My part is push mowing around everything so it is easier for dad and then edging everything. It takes me about a hour and half to do my part. It only takes dad 40 minutes to do the rest of the yard but he is going 13 miles an hour.

He got out and did his part today. He can get on the mower by himself but I have to help him off. I am glad he can still mow because he has always loved doing it. He might not when I have to fill it up with diesel fuel soon. It is going to cost a small fortune.

I am loving the 21700 batteries. I knew they were bigger and I would not have to change as often but I am amazed. I've taken 545 toots off of the new tooter and my battery is only down to 45%.

Don't ask me why I needed bigger because it is not like I am not always home and never out of 18650's.

Does anyone have any fun plans for the weekend? I have not unless you think using an Epilady is fun. heehee I need to trim my hair too. I've noticed more than usual tangles lately. My cousin is a beautician or whatever they are called these days. She cut it once for me but I hate to go back to her because she would not take any money and I felt bad. I did want the family discount but I didn't want it free. heehee

Nothing fun but nothing torturous like your Epilady plans

I have got to do some more shopping. I have no idea what to get dad for Father's day. He is so hard to buy for. I should just give him $40 and tell him the shower chair (that he has not used yet) is what I got him. That would be cheesy though.

Mom was always so easy to buy for and she seemed to like anything I got her.

    Rats!
Here I went shopping Thursday and completely forgot about Father’s Day cards
I ordered DH something from Amazon and got it last night, I’ve given up on getting a gift for dad.
    Thanks for the reminder

    Good morning lurkers

Thanks Dale, me too. Looks like today will be the better of the 2. It’s only 57 so I hope it warms up fast lol

Ohhhh, I misunderstood, Rat2. I bet mowing makes him feel useful and important. :) Good luck with the epilady :lol:

I still need to get cards too. Mom and step dad are coming for dinner and bringing a pizza. Long story short we together with my bro/sil booked them a couple nights in the Poconos for their anniversary and I think while they are looking forward to their trip they are going to miss their Sunday with kiddo :?:

Off to get some minor cleaning done. Have a great day!!

Good afternoon Dale, Rat2 and Joey

Are you working, Joey? When are your days off this week? I hope you are having a nice day too.

Thank you, Rat2 :) They are celebrating 30 years tomorrow and actually went to the Poconos on their Honeymoon.

Geez, i was 15 when they got married. Typing out 30 years made me feel….too old
