Dang Rat2! Now you’re juggling three guys?
I know, right? From one extreme to the other. The ones I have met are so persnickety. I am sure I will be back to my hermit lifestyle one day. But not today. heehee

Took apart two lamps and I am going to venture out to WallyWorld and get buy replacement stuff for them. I got them apart so now the only question is can I get them back together? (and functional?) Today's excitement.

Holy moly, Dale. She’s growing so fast! She is adorable. How wonderful to spend the day with all of them.

I didn’t do too much today lol saving it for this week. Tomorrow is my Friday! We had stuffed chicken with extra stuffing in the crockpot, mashed tates and corn for dinner.

Gonna go finish what I was doing before dinner….movie in netflix  Sweet dreams all!

    Good morning lurkers

I work today and then I am off the rest of the week. I use this week to prepare for Thanksgiving and deep clean.

    Have a great day everyone!
    Good morning Sara
‘Wow you’re getting an early start!

OMgosh dale, how precious. What an expressive little face. How very proud you must be.
That’s something I noticed early on , how expressive she can be. If she retains that she’d make a great sign language interpreter.

Well, I just thought of something to be thankful for this year. . . although I need to, I don't have to deep clean for anyone.

I have had Thanksgiving with my aunt and her family for two years. Having "family" is sort of a new feeling for me. My aunt and cousins just came into my life 3 years ago. I know that sounds weird but our family photo is beside the definition of dysfunctional. heehee

Before spending Thanksgiving down at my aunt's, dad and I usually grilled out steaks because neither one of us was a big turkey person. Mom and dad always came to our house for Thanksgiving. Every year she would bring her stuffing and gravy and I would spend days fixing everything I could think of. What I remember most is every year mom was in a hurry to eat and run because I did not allow smoking in my house. heehee I do miss her stuffing though.

Not sure what I will do this year. Gosh, now I am thinking about sweet potato pies! Now that's a happy thought!

I hate when my day starts off with aggravation. I have been trying to call my insurance agent all morning and after the message says someone will be with you shortly, the call cuts off. Grrrr I understand it is just a glitch in the system but I am glad it is not an emergency. I texted my agent so maybe I will hear from him soon.

I thought my insurance would go down since I took dad off my policy but nope, it went up $30. I will say I like Farm Bureau. Every couple of years I get quotes from other companies and so far, they always are the least expensive. I am not calling him to complain about the increase. I sent him my dad's death certificate back in September and I got my bill and his name is still under the insured driver. That is probably a glitch in the system too but I just want to make sure it is right. Always something.

    Have a great day!
    Good morning Rat2
Hope you can get that insurance situation straightened out today . DS asked our plans for thanksgiving yesterday so I’m trying to decide what we will do. Deer season will be full on and it’s hard when you only have that one day off.

Good evening Dale and lurkers

Mmm tacos!! We were supposed to have alfredo but the boys whined. They aren’t fond of the recipe, but I was trying to use up some stuff in the fridge. We ended up at BK  and I will make the alfredo for my lunch this week.

I hope you were able to get the insurance stuff figured out, Rat2.

Long story short, after kiddo was born we drove to our families for every holiday. My family is at one end the a county and his is at the other end of a neighboring county. Too much driving and after some miscommunication along the way I put my foot down and said no more. When we moved into this house in 2012, we started hosting all the holidays. This will be the first cold month ones since Covid started.
