Oh, just as a follow-up, after getting dressed up and made up in my new little exercise outfit, I got sidetracked on the puter and missed the class that I was going to try. That's okay, they offer it twice a week so I will try again next week.

One thing for sure is that outfit made me feel like a cutie patootie but it was too hot for working out. I spent almost an hour and a half there. Not all exercising because I had to study the pictures and figure out how to use the machines. I did several of them and had to stop on a few because something did not feel right (mainly my shoulder and knees). I did use things that have been idle for a while though because I could tell. heehee I was expecting to be sore this morning but was pleasantly surprised that I was no more stiff than usual. YAY! Maybe that means the walking I have been doing for so long has done something.

I eat one time a day and honestly, I never get hungry during the day. The longer I worked out, the hungrier I got for some reason. I even came home and fixed myself lunch. That is so weird.

I can't remember if I have told you but I gave Terry a brass crab when we first started going out. My mom had brass everything and I thought it would look good at his coastal place. He did like it. The other day I found a brass fish (which is something he does daily when he is down there). It was dull and in bad shape. I brassoed it and it looked much better. Terry loved the fish and took it home and repolished it with something and it looks brand new. He really liked it. 11650.jpeg I gave my aunt the brass fly. I didn't know why anyone would buy that but my mom did. I have boxes of brass to find a home for. 20221021_212146.jpg I love taking pics of stuff (you probably figured that out) but let me know if y'all would prefer that I did not post them. I remember I always loved Show & Tell day in 1st grade.

Good evening all

Finally got to make my instant pot Alfredo. It was so good but unfortunately I’m the only one who likes it. Dh remembered he doesn’t like Boursin cheese after he bought it and that is in the recipe

Oh no, Dale. I’m assuming those responsible for the damage won’t be able to cover the expenses? Will your insurance be able to help? I’m glad you will have some time off now.

Oh I get you, Rat2. It definitely is harder to take off than put on. I, myself, am in that boat. Down to my last 2 pairs of jeans that fit comfortably :( I have good intentions about walking in the morning but then the alarm goes off and I just don’t want to. I was doing so well too.

So far we’re doing ok with the storm. It’s “supposed” to move north overnight so who knows what we will end up with. It’s definitely dumping on some areas though.

    Hi Sara
Cole is supposed to pay for the replacement window, our insurance is only liability so there’s nothing there for us.
I am looking forward to a few days off but today’s pay was nice ;)

Good night all, I seem to be going to bed earlier every night  Just uncomfortably tired.

    Good morning Dale

That’s good news! How long are you looking at before it is replaced?
    Good morning Sara

Longer than I like apparently, the window fell in Thursday night sometime. I guess from the temperature change. DH covered it yesterday with tarps but we’re still waiting for someone to come deal with it, some friend of Randy‘s .
‘Aggravating as we had just gotten it back from the shop after two weeks and I got to drive it twice
‘I shouldn’t be complaining but can’t seem to help it.

Good evening Joey and Dale

Aww nothing better than a visit with kiddo to brighten your day :) Your dinner sounds really good. Love rotisserie!

I had the rest of the Alfredo for lunch so I was full at dinner but the boys had pita pizzas. When pitas are on sale, we grab some and use them for pizza crusts. Spent the day working on my fall cleaning list. Few more things to scratch off tomorrow.

We ended up with about a foot of snow. Thank goodness the snowblower worked this year. It’s currently north of us and is supposed to move back down overnight. I can’t believe last week it was in the 60s/70s.

Sorry you’re dealing with snow already :)

Well, it is late but I just wanted to drop in. I just got finished with a marathon phone call. Terry called and we talked for 4 hours and 45 minutes. I have never talked that long on the phone at one sitting. Neither one of us realized we had been on the phone that long. It was Saturday night and all I was doing was one load of wash so it was nice. Boy, he is a talker.

I did have to have a little talk with him and tell him how I feel. He said he understood. But he also said that if it turned into something that was great but he just enjoyed my company and was looking for companionship. That I can do and I told him Jay had taken me out several times and I would be dating other friends too. That's about as clear as I can be. I do enjoy doing stuff with him so we will just have to see. I need to think about it some more.

I had a wonderful day yesterday. I was at the gym at 9 when they opened and messed with several of the machines for 30 minutes and then walked and read my book on the treadmill for an hour. It was nice and peaceful. I hope I stick with it because it sure is nicer than walking in the cold weather. Only 1 other woman came in and I had earphones on so she just said hello.

Then I went shopping and thank goodness I did not buy any shoes. heehee I did buy two long sleeve t-shirts and a bunch of stuff from the $1.25 store. Probably would have stayed longer but it was pretty crowded. I prefer shopping during the week.

Stopped by and visited my aunt since I have not been down there this week. I think she was tickled to see me. Told her I had been going to the gym and she said she might want to start going. I don't want to be ugly but I do not want to take anybody anywhere. I think 7 and half years was enough. Also, I don't want to have to rush or leave because they want to. I did that also for 7 1/2 years. I told her maybe her daughter could join and they could go on her day off. I hope she got what I was saying. I enjoy her company too but I guess I just do not want to have any responsibilities other than for myself.

I did not make it to the grocery store to get salad stuff so I just had an egg and cheese bagel with grits for supper. It was not bad but it sure did make me happy like the breakfast at the church Wednesday or dale's breakfast either.

Hope everyone has a nice relaxing Sunday.

    Good morning lurkers

Wowsers, watching the news. Some places got 77 inches. I’m guessing we got close to 2ft. Now we are dealing with blowing snow but at least the sun is out.

Rat2, so glad to hear you and Terry talked about expectations. I agree, I wouldn’t want to go together with someone to work out. Arrive separate and work out together, absolutely!

Well I’m off to to finish up that list! Have a great day everyone!
