I made it to the gym and had a good workout. I was wearing hot flamingo pink shiny leggings and that always makes me feel good. Was supposed to go walking with Jimmy but a friend invited him to lunch. I had stuff to do so I told him we would walk next week.
Well, if I say so myself, supper was delicious. I ate two hot dogs. I made my own chili and it turned out nicely. I have no idea what I put in it. I thought I was putting Worchershire and I had the soy sauce by mistake. So I had to add stuff to it but it turned out amazingly well. Terry said it was so good so I sent a container home with him and I kept a little bit because I will eat it over rice.
I was going to pour the grease off the hamburger and grabbed a plastic container from the recyclables. I sat it on a burner that I had just boiled eggs on and of course, it melted the plastic and I had grease all over the place. The first batch of deviled eggs was too salty so I fixed some more. Costly mistake considering eggs were $4.62 a dozen. grrrr
The second batch was better and I will do something with the first. I don't waste. I have enough egg whites to cover most of the next week's salads. heehee
Bought another cute little plant at Aldi's and a pink candle that was supposed to smell. I lit all
three wicks and it was pretty but had no smell. Oh well, it looks Valentine-ish.
I definitely like the air-fry microwave. The seasoned fries were wonderful. I am going to start looking for things to fix in it. I am sure there are lots of things.
I found mom's old stove top bun steamer and used it for the specialty hot dog buns I got. They were so soft and just like I remember when mom used it. I do love bread. I can't believe I did not take a picture of my hot dog. heehee That is so not like me.
We watch Open Range with Kevin Cosner and Robert Duvall. I had a glass of wine (because I needed it and I could) and enjoyed it immensely.
My aunt asked me if I would make an appointment with my eye doctor for her. Of course, I don't mind at all but she said she would appreciate it if I would take her because she did not want to go with either of her daughters. I have been saying "No." a bunch lately but I am going to do it because she does have problems seeing. I love my eye doctor and I hope he can help her. I really don't mind helping her at all it is just I think her daughters or grandson or great-granddaughter should be helping her.
As you can tell, my mind is going in all directions tonight. I have been running all day and I was up at 4. Maybe I will sleep well this morning. Fingers crossed.
