Good morning Dale and lurkers

Sounds like a nice evening, Rat2. Enjoy your chat tonight :)

We tried a new to us Polish bar/restaurant for dinner and they had a live duo band. Made me think of you, Rat2. The woman played an electric violin and the man an electric guitar/sang popular songs from the 80s/90s. It was fun. I had pierogis and tried a bite of Dh’s kielbasa (haven’t had that since I was a kid)

Lazy day today! Sun is out and it should be a good day to make some flavored, kiddo friendly lemonades  I have been alcohol free for 104 days, now if I could get rid of this vape and take out, we’d be set. have a great day everyone!!

In your nightmares
Good morning everyone

Next week I start on 3rd shift 10p-6:30a, hope it helps with my daughter since she likes to stay up all night and sleep all day. Also mandatory 12 hr shifts for a couple of weeks for the start of corn pack. Then back to 8hrs. I'm not happy about 12 hrs at all, also found out I will not get my 3rd week vacation until next year. I guess if I need a day off I will call in sick :w00t:

Hopefully things will run smoothly and the 12 hr shifts go away quickly. I’m happy I have a good paying job right now so it makes up for the crap I have to put up with.

Raining pretty hard here tonight for the last few hours. We need it bad for the crops. This year it hasn’t rained much.

I slept in this morning and I feel good. Ended up having a 5-hour video chat. It is funny how you can talk to someone that you have not talked to in a year and a half and it does not seem like any time has passed at all. You just pick up where you left off. It was nice but I am not going to go from one long-distance relationship into another. But a friendship is okay.

My cousin and her friend asked me if I wanted to meet them at Jason's Deli. That is a place I have never eaten and I am all for first times. It was really good. They had a huge salad bar and I got it because that was what they got. I probably decided on it because they had a soft-serve ice cream machine.

Cindy still has not told me what time she is going to drop off my little house guest even though I asked. Sometime today. Nothing much planned anyway. I told my cousin I would not be able to go out to eat with them like I usually do so she said she would just bring something down to my aunts. She did not say what she is bringing so I guess I will just be surprised.

I have got to stop going to the Temu website. I already have a 3rd order ready. My mailman delivered my last package Friday and he asked me what Temu was because he said he delivered those packages all over the place. I imagine he went home and checked it out. heehee It was sort of like Christmas. I loved everything I got from the flamingo shoes to my cell phone holder for the car that goes in the drink holder. I could have used a smaller size for the sundress but I may can sew the stretchy top part up and at least keep it from falling down. I like it.

Cindy is on her way so it should not be long now. It is going to be so weird having a dog in the house. I cannot believe it has been 2 years and 3 months since my Rachel passed. You know what? Time flies whether you or having fun or not.

Good afternoon Rat2 and Dale

Don’t blame ya one bit on long distance relationships but I’m glad you had a nice time talking with your friend.

We are doing sausage with peppers & onions and fresh corn again for dinner. We had burgers and corn last night. I added sautéed mushrooms and onions to mine instead of pickles and tomatoes, wow. Tasted like we were out to a burger joint. I always pick the mushroom burgers. Lol.

You sound like DH with those mushrooms

Had Kalli all afternoon then DS and wife came later so just now getting some peace and quiet. Paco do not like DS and won’t shut up so he has to be caged in another room while he’s here :(
