Good evening lurkers

Oh no, Dale :( That stinks. Glad you got to spend some time with family though. How is your dad doing? Have they rescheduled his surgery date?

I definitely love mushrooms. I need to remember to dehydrate some more this fall. They are great to throw a handful in when cooking.

Well, the mini stay cation is over for another month ;) Can’t believe July is almost is pretty much done already. Summer goes so quickly for me.

Hope everyone had a decent day.

Oh yeah dad’s procedure was postponed again for another week  Was supposed to be done the 21st.

Sorry your mini vacation is over, it did go by quickly.

Signing off for the night, have a restful one

see what delivery times are like and how their products are.
My order took a week and a half to get to me which was fine with me. I have been so pleased with everything I have ordered.

My little guest seems to be fine. I have kept a close eye on her though. I took her down to my aunts because my cousin brought Bojangle's chicken. The little dog has had people food before because she can beg with the best of them. heehee She has three medications and eye drops. Thank goodness she takes them well with cheese. She does stumble a lot but it does not seem to bother her. Cindy brought a leash but she can't run so I have not used it. I just hope she sleeps well tonight. She randomly barks and scares me. Rachel only barked if there was a doorbell in real life or on the tv. I can already tell that I am not ready to get another animal. I may change my mind by Thursday.

My friend wrote me and said he was not feeling well and did not want to think he was ignoring me. We talk for over 5 hours last night, I think I'm good. heehee I wrote him back and of course, told him to feel better and that I did not feel ignored because I was not expecting to hear from him. I hope he does stay in touch but I will not get upset if he chooses not to. I can't control what anyone else does but I can how I react. I have known all my life that when you don't expect anything, you are never disappointed.

Going to try to get the little dog to bed now. Cindy says she goes at 11 and I am trying to keep her on her schedule. I still think she would have done better staying at her house. I have to get up early because my little gun is ready for me to pick it up. They open at 7:30 and me and the dog will try to be there.

Sorry that it Monday again for those that work. I hope everyone has a good day anyway.

Cindy said Bailey usually sleeps until 7. Not at my house. She came and licked me at 5:23 and I am telling you that dog should lick someone that is on life support before they unhook them to make sure they will not wake up. Whew!

Cindy said she liked to go to bed with her but then she sleeps in the den. Not here. She stayed in my bed all night. I listened out for her because she cannot jump off the bed and she was a little brick most of the night. Probably tired from the excitement of being someplace new. Might be different tonight.

We have errands to run this morning. I am so excited about getting my new baby bra shooter. It is so darn cute. Then my cousin wants me to pick her up and take her to her mom's. She is having her car worked on and will borrow her mom's car. She brought me an Arby's milkshake last night to thank me. I love their Jamocha shakes.

Well, that is the start of my week, whether you were interested or not.

Ah! The itty bitty bang bang , that ought to be fun.

    New alarm clock eh?
‘I’m a little disappointed that Paco won’t sleep with me but it’s probably for the best I suppose.

    Have fun!

He is a man that I met on ecf. Dennis (mamatried) loaned me a reo grand because I always posted that one day I would get one. This other man had been talking to me for a while and wrote to me that I should have a reo of my own so he sent me a reo mini. We have been friends for years. After I moved in with dad we started video chatting and talked a lot. I think we even had a little long-distance relationship going on at one time. He was taking care of a son and I was taking care of dad so we never could get together. I played games online with his son and I even went to visit his mom and set up her computer for her.

Over the years we have kept in touch. I have always wanted to meet him in person so I hope that happens now that I have my newfound freedom. That just might be my next adventure.

    Good evening lurkers

I sure hope so, Dale. Hopefully he will feel better too!

Awwww, she’s a snuggle bunny. Hope she sleeps just as good for you tonight, Rat2 Lucy used to sleep with us til she had an accident when Dh was away. I’d love for her to come back up at night but I must say, for a dog that doesn’t shed, she sheds for two and I prefer to keep that out of my face.

Hope everyone had a good day. I sure am glad it’s over. First day back is never fun.

Thank you Sara. It was good but I ate too much!
