Glad having your new room maté isn’t stopping you from talking to us Rat2 ;)
And I hope it never does stop me. I know I have not been posting quite as much because so many changes and issues happening. That's life but I am sure things will settle down and I will get back to close to normal for me (whatever that is).

For the last year, I am sure y'all have notice some of the crazy things I have done with my newfound freedom. I am starting to think I may be having a belated mid-life crisis.

I cannot remember if I told everyone about the issues I had on my last charity motorcycle ride but it had to do with a real issue called Saddle Numbness. That's what the doctor told me at my physical. Well, things have gotten better but still not back 100%.

I love riding the motorcycle and the freedom I feel while riding. Riding a motorcycle is probably the first real memory I have. I can remember riding with my father when I was tiny. I can literally remember sitting between his legs and holding onto each of his arms. I felt so safe. I get that same feeling with Ken.

Now we get to the mid-life crisis. . . I bought a motorcycle. A nice one! It is the largest and most frivolous purchase I have made since Dad died but has made me quite happy so far.

Ken has two motorcycles and I think he thought I was crazy. (he may be correct) I know nothing about motorcycles other than I like Harley's. He looked at what they had pre-owned and picked out a couple of nice bikes that had good prices. Since this is MY purchase, I picked out what I wanted. The only thing it does not have is metallic paint. You know I like sparkles. But it has everything else. Since I want to go on long trips and see things I have never seen before, I went for my comfort.

Here she is. . .

Not sure what I am going to do today but I am sure it is going to be a great day. Y'all have a great day too.

Oh yeah. . .

I met a young man who cuts trees for a living. He pulled a baby squirrel out of his pocket. When he finds them, he and his wife raise them. It was so darn cute. I did not want to give it back to him. I held the little girl for over an hour as she snoozed.

Good evening lurkers

Ohhh how darling, Rat2, both the bike and the squirrel. You can always get a custom paint job down the road. There could be sparkles in your future just yet.

What a sweet memory of you and your dad.

Soccer win in over time 4-3, kiddo tweaked his dang knee again, fortunately it’s not too swollen but noticeable to him, late dinner of eat whatever you can find, cleaned up the kitchen and now I’m ready for bed. I ended up with freezer burned burritos which burned the heck out of the roof of my mouth. There is one left in the freezer and I said if you know what happens to hit the fan, I still wouldn’t recommend eating it

Hope you all had a good day!

Good morning. I have been sleeping so well lately but I guess I was overly tired last night.

Saw my aunt trimming tree limbs so I went to help her (of course). Was not too long til here comes Ken wanting to help too. I am not sure how she did it but we ended up cutting a tree down for her and stacking the brush for her. I did not mean for Ken to work but it was nice having someone that wanted to help.

Ended up doing yard work yesterday and after fussing about it, I finally let Ken mow the yard while I did trim work. I think he just wanted to use the zero-turn. heehee He did a fantastic job though and it would not take much at all for me to get used to him mowing.

I went ahead a mowed all the way down the street outside the fence. My aunt just has no business push mowing in this heat and in that ditch. I have fallen out there before and I do not want her to. I have to gnawl my tongue to keep from saying her grandson should get his you-know-what out there and help her. What kind of 31 year old man feels good about a 90 and a 63-year-old doing his yard? Grrrr It is just not right.

I had such a productive day. I also did wash too. Ken wanted to take me out to eat since I had worked so hard but it was going to rain so I just wanted to stay home. I ended up fixing spaghetti and salad. It makes me feel so good to hear Ken tell me I am amazing. I know that is silly but Dad never once told me anything like that or my ex for that matter. I like it.

Halfway to the weekend. Sheesh! Where does the time go? I am going to try to get some of my stuff done today. I got another email from my attorney with two more things I need to do for her. I get so agitated. What am I paying them for? I will be so glad when this estate stuff is completed.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday! Love you all!

Good morning lurkers

Fastest time of the day…..bedtime  I swear it feels like I just went to bed.

Thanks, Dale! I’m relieved that it wasn’t worse. Lololol.

That lazy lump should get his .... off the couch and help his grandmother. I’d give anything for mine to still be here. I’m glad she has you to help, and now Ken. ;)

Happy hump day!! Hope it’s a good one.
