In your nightmares
Good morning Sara and Joey

Joey I’m so very happy to see you, been thinking about you a lot this week. When does your horrible schedule end?
Hiya Dale

I hope when we are done with corn near the end of October, but I have a feeling it will be until Thanksgiving when we finish mix veg

Ugh Thanksgiving is quite a ways away :(

Supper’s all done and cleared away. Spare ribs, mashed potatoes and green beans.

Good evening Joey, Dale and Fran

Uggg. If the next two months are anything like summer was, should fly by quick  ;) Sorry, Joey, I know it sure doesn’t feel that way when you are working it.

Hope you get some rain, Dale and I hope you stay dry, Fran. Think it was mid 60s today.

We had hamburger stroganoff. Made extra, so we can eat that again tomorrow. Kiddo was thrilled. Dh not so much. I said welllll then…….when I ask for help this weekend planning the menu, maybe you’ll have some input. Otherwise I’m going to keep making what *I* like.

Hope everyone had a great day!

I went to my first Bike Night last night. They played a bunch of silly games that had me laughing. I definitely did not participate but Ken raced a man on this oversized tricycle. He lost but had such a good time. The prize was a bucket of beer and the one who won shared it with Ken. They had chicken wings, meatballs, croissant sandwiches and potato salad. The best part was it was all free. That happens to be my favorite kind of food.

We are going on a charity ride tomorrow to benefit children with Hydrocephalus (water on the brain). He tries to ride on all the charity rides he comes across. That is a great quality in him and I am more than willing to ride along for a good cause.

It is sort of funny but every time someone says something about the bike, he tells them it is my bike and he is just the chauffeur. Technically that is true since only my name is on the title. Maybe one day I will add his name or find a new chauffeur. I know where to find them.

We are taking his bike tomorrow but he made me a nice cushion to sit on. Still on the fender but is satisfactory comfort for my tookus.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Good morning! Been up since 4. grrrr Maybe I'm just excited about the ride today. It is supposed to be pretty but 55% rain tomorrow and I'm already feeling "rainy" in the bones, if you know what I mean.

The coffee sure is good this morning. Hope everyone has a great day.

    Hi Sara
Yeah it’s been a good Saturday, even saw DS , DIL and Kalli . They stopped in to borrow my car for a trip to Little Rock tomorrow, going to see a dinosaur exhibit.
Had chili tonight I dug out of the bottom of the deep freezer, time to make another batch.

Morning all. Got up early and got in 12,000 steps. Thought it might help me but it did not. The rain has settled into my joints. Such is life. We need the rain so it will be okay. Going to just take it easy today. I hope.

The charity ride yesterday was wonderful. There were only 60 some bikes but there was a nice crowd. It was a little longer than I was expecting. He had wanted to take his chopper but it was making a weird backfire so we took my comfortable ride and I was not disappointed.

He will get it running well again and I will ride for short trips but I really prefer comfort on the longer trips.

When we got finished they had some of the best food I have had so far. I ate way too much. I am very disappointed because I have gained but I'm going to get it under control before I gain anymore. It will be okay. I just have to stop Ken from feeding me so much. The doctor told me I should gain a few pounds but I did not agree with her. heehee

They had raffle tickets and Ken won a $10 gift certificate to Waffle House which was great because he loves to eat their breakfast. He had a bunch of tickets so after he won he gave the rest of his tickets to a woman who did not have any and told her he hoped she won something. I thought that was pretty nice of him.

Then we went to a place we had been to the other day and he played pool with a young guy and then a game with a man that was probably in his late 70's. He won both games although I wanted the older man to win. I don't think Ken played as well as I had seen him so I think he tried to let the older man win. Another nice thing I see in him.

Anyway, it was a wonderful day and they collected a lot of money for the children. Bikers get a bad rap sometimes but they really are all for good causes.

Thank you dale, I enjoyed your breakfast as I always do. I hope everyone has a wonderful day.
